Now, I think JFK handled things badly, but I also believe that he was truly concerned and unhappy when our enemy built missile bases in Cuba. That was a crisis in October 1962.
My follow on picture represents Obama's approach when our enemy builds bases in Cuba. I detect a little less concern.
At a time like that, he should have been meeting with his Vice President Lyndon Johnson. But of course, Johnson was the VP in name only. JFK considered and treated his Brother Bobby as the actual VP when Bobby was the Attorney General.
Because of things like that, Johnson HATED the Kennedy's. After JFK's assassination and LBJ had become President, one time LBJ was in his office when Bobby came in looking to confer with LBJ on some sort of issue that didnt pertain to Bobby's office. Apparently Bobby was still acting as if he were still an actual VP. LBJ admonished him: "I'm President now!"
How fitting.
JFK’s brother Bobby was murdered by a koranimal, right?
