Gov Palin does not work on the time table of the MSM and it pisses them off.
Personally I love the way she makes them dance.
Other people who are bothered, it is only been recent that candidates declared six years before an election, they used to wait until about six months before.

She once said she’d be running if no good alternative candidate appeared. If she declares she’ll run now, it will be seen as a shot at Perry. I don’t think she wants to do that. If she doesn’t, and he wins the nomination, she can probably take the VP spot without breaking a sweat. Given the boost she provided to the McCain campaign, I’m sure she could only help Perry’s ticket.
Whereas if she runs for president, it’s possible she’d lose the primaries, lose the nomination, take more unnecessary crap from various quarters.
The risk/benefit thing says she won’t run for president.
Still, I’d rather she did. :(

Come on. Suggest a reason why.

This is a prayerful family decision. The Palins have been harassed and received death threats. Even her parents. She is not taking this lightly. All of this has been posted before.

The MSM has a vested interest in the GOP nominee being determined ASAP..so that they have the time to concentrate ALL their efforts on destroying that person. The ONLY way Obama can possibly win next year is if they can convince the country that the Pubby is nuts...

I see her positioning herself for a cabinet position. The VP slot didn’t work out the first time.

So indecision as president is bad, but indecision as presidential contender is good?

Major cabinet positions will be filled with Perry Texas cronies. No point in holding out or that. And if he as “promised” her something? Well he told her he wasn’t going to run and we see how that worked out.

The press hypes that she's indecisive because THEY don't know what she's doing and you buy it. If I was Palin I wouldn't give the press dog food.

Tell me what the REAL deadline is to declare, not the one the press picked.

The longer she delays announcing her candidacy, the longer she keeps the ruling-class RINOs, state-controlled media, DemocRAT and Republican opponents, etc. in complete and total disarray.

Why should she give up her strategic advantage?

To make it "fair" for the RINOs and 'Rats?

Palin is coming, and the Tea Party is coming with her.

ineluctable

LOL! Since when does anything, except filing deadlines, dictate when anyone should declare as a candidate for the Presidency. She has already said she'll made the decision, and announce it, sometime in September.

I'm sure the writer already knows this, but just can't help himself from joining the "I Hate Sarah" party, for the benefit of his friends in the media.

This is my present idea on Palin: She wants very much to be president. She has the idea that the traditional behaviour of her political breed in this evil lying post civilized American era is counter productive. She has powerful name recognition and can relight the brand with just a few well constructed and well timed speeches. She will sit and watch and wait like any good hunter, and at some predetermined cue will come roaring out and hit Obozo so hard his clown makeup will fly off and stain the wall behind him. In what ever time is left between that point and the election she will unflagingly beat him to a pulp with his own words and his own presidency.

Well Perry went back on this word & I’m sure Gov. Palin does look kindly on someone who does that.

“I was quite sure that he wasn’t going to run, because he was adamant until about four months ago that he wasn’t going to run,” she said. But she was quick to add that Perry’s change of heart was fine. “I was surprised that he had changed his position on that, but I’m glad that he’s going to be in there.”

A reporter asked whether, if Obama had committed that sort of flip-flop, she would be more critical, she laughed. “I probably would, to tell you the truth,” she said…
Even with Perry in the race, she said, “I see room in the field. Definitely.”

“If at the end of the line he’s the one left standing, I would be extremely enthused about him because I’m a believer in ABO – anybody but Obama. So, absolutely. But there’s still a long time in this process,” Palin said, adding that Perry’s entry doesn’t affect her decision making.

I don’t know, I’m not convinced yet by Perry, especially in regards to immigration and borders. I think if he gets in things will be status quo. The US needs a 180 degree turn around, painful quick changes to undo so much harm that has been done, who will do this?
