I doubt many would honestly call these "side shows"....strategic moves more like it and they are certainly more than working for her.
Palins base remains steadfast supportive and take her moves as "serious" manuvers, as do the candidates who have declared. The only ones having their pants in knots are those who don't have a clear understanding of how and why she's operating as she does.... and overly anxious to have her do as THEY want her to do.....running or not it won't be known until Palin determines her time...not ours.
The Houston Chronicle had an article where the libs were whining about the cost of the security detail for all of the foreign trips made mostly for economic reasons.
Good grief - how much security does he need to visit Oklahoma, anywise???
I’m back:
Here’s my first Palin-bashing post thread.

Now might I please state, it’s rather difficult to be a Palin “troll” on a Palin thread. Just saying...
:)
YOU think this is a side show? High profile candidates or potentials gets invites to speak at foreign conferences all the time, not the low ring ones though. It is standard procedure plus speaking about the US economic crisis, policies to tackle fiscal woes and her country’s role in the world at a time when its superpower status is diminishing...that’s not serious?
SHEESH!!
Well there is that rivalry between the Sooner and the Longhorns. :-)
I never said that you were a Palin troll...
Interesting we see Palin going abroad, invited by dignitaries,.... at a time when Obama goes on vacations and wherever...while Palin lays her groundwork overseas.
Have said many times...the woman is to be reconed with...and now it would cerainly appear foreign leaders see this as much as well. Am honored to see her Represent us...if she runs or not...this is huge!
BTTT.
Great that she is going to go there to promote America!
(Someone has to say something positive on the thread. The
nay-sayers seem to take over as soon as one is posted! Creepy!)
RUN, SARAH....R U N!! :)
THANK YOU, LUV W!!!!
OK I over-reacted.
You know. Being a cult member and all. :D
This is going to be a historic campaign. One for the popcorn record books.
Glad it’s starting.
Sure you know this already.. but she is a BIG Palin concern *****...
That would be us!!!! Proud as can be she's acting out her role to be....fine representative for us all. Very proud indeed....
I was in plenty of countries as well, but only to get drunk and chase women, they never invited me to make a political speech. I don’t think Perry made any either.
Being there, that reminds me of a movie.
Notice that none of the other official candidates were invited and yes, “official” candidates do go to these type of things to shore up their foreign policy experience through the media. If Bachmann was going every Bachmann supporter would be crowing how she is invited and recognized in the foreign world but when Sarah goes to India or Hong Kong or other places, its for alliterative motives or something
Me and RitaOk go way back.....a few months that is! I know all about her!heh!
