Notice that none of the other official candidates were invited and yes, “official” candidates do go to these type of things to shore up their foreign policy experience through the media. If Bachmann was going every Bachmann supporter would be crowing how she is invited and recognized in the foreign world but when Sarah goes to India or Hong Kong or other places, its for alliterative motives or something

The event is hosting.. ...’250 global leaders from 40 countries’....and Palin will be a key note speaker.

That’s significant for Palin to be seen and heard by government dignitaries...and that by invitation. She is walking the walk once again and THEY are interested in what she has to say.
