(Reuters) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday she resented what she viewed as an attack on her integrity by former Vice President Dick Cheney in his just-published memoir.
Speaking in an interview with Reuters, Rice rejected Cheney's contention that she misled President George W. Bush about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea.

I believe LAURA pushed Condi on W....she got the gig because she’s BLACK...a woman....(?)....a Russian “specialist”.... and a friend. I always thought she was BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! She has NOTHING to show for her 4 years.
I hadn't thought that Condi had said who she was voting for and thought I had remembered that she had voiced some support for McCain.
Don't know where these others are getting their info that she definitely voted for Obama.
Well, powell was her mentor and laura bush was not the person her press said she was either. Nothing is ever as it seems with these people.
No facts to support that so far as I can see.
Just a lot of speculation based on the fact that she wouldn't say who she was voting for before the election and she congratulated Obama after it.
Really, though, Secretaries of State usually don't interfere in US presidential elections beforehand. They have enough to do to bother with that.
After foreign elections our diplomats congratulate a lot of people around the world that we don't agree with on their electoral victories.
She might have voted for Obama but nobody knows that for certain. Maybe she just didn't want to be singled out because of her race: no journalist was pushy or silly enough to ask Kissinger or Baker or Albright who they were going to vote for when they held her job.
>> Sect. of State should be a male at this point in time...
Gender is not the problem.
Condi always struck me as a classy lady and the speech of congratulation upon leaving her job strikes me as vintage Condi. Sort of like Bush...neither one would ever publicly show any smidgeon of bitterness and would praise the American electoral process just as she did.
Of course one never knows what really happens when another person takes his/her ballot into the voting booth. She could have voted for Obama.
Well, at "some" point she changed her mind, because toward the end, she plainly said she was going to "go with Obama". I heard it.
I couldn’t find anything online that indicated she said she endorsed or even definitively voted for Obama. Some sites speculated that she did from her body language or coy responses but even those sites said they were speculating. If you have a link I would love to see it.
Condoleezza Rice on Obama's Victory
Yeah, she voted for him...she can hardly contain her glee in this video from the day after election day.
And don't forget about THIS...
Rice meets with Obama, then defends his administration's approach
I am happy to see someone remembered... condi... not part of any Conservative solution.

From the link:
“Rice rolled her eyes at the notion that Obama is a closet Muslim, and she defended him from criticism - led by former vice president Richard B. Cheney - that Obama had weakened the country. “Nothing in this president’s methods suggests this president is other than a defender of America’s interests,” Rice told an audience that included presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett.”
If nothing else, we know she is blind...
Bells palsy causes 1/2 of the face to droop from the eyelids down to the corner of mouth...Its temporary but easy to spot...she doesn’t have the face droop...cannot even blink well with Bells.
You really can't fathom why even a professional black woman who grew up in the South at a time of segregation would have some emotion over the first election of a black person to the presidency?
She may also have been breathing a sigh of relief the insane John McCain hadn't become president.
The bottom line of 2008: no matter which was elected, American would've lost.
As a professional diplomat, she's going to say diplomatic things about her immediate successor.
Misogynist pig.
Powell was a disaster, an unprincipled and despicable leaker.
Condi's own Bush-era memoir is coming as well
Unlike with the disloyal, saboteur leaker Powell, I see this as just being a friendly squabble between a diplomat and a hardliner.
X..to be purty smart even if wrongheaded
you should read up on her utterances
and they asked all notable black conservatives what they thought about Obama’s run back in 2008
and Condi, Colin and Watts...all failed.
it was historical and they wanted the black conservative perspective...sure it was potential gotcha....they would do the same if a lib Mexercan ran and I bet they asked a few righty chicks about Ferraro way back then
I haven’t looked it up but I bet black conservative pundits did not fall into the trap
not sure about Steele...he was gearing up for RNC run..
as for her job performance...no George Marshall and obviously wished to be a middle east rainmaker...don’t they all?
she seems decent enough...lonely sorta...like an old maid...but no social conservative..hence a deal killer for me
