(Reuters) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday she resented what she viewed as an attack on her integrity by former Vice President Dick Cheney in his just-published memoir.
Speaking in an interview with Reuters, Rice rejected Cheney's contention that she misled President George W. Bush about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea.

I know why they do that to the pictures of our people, but it’s very juvenile and I can’t imagine it not harming the credibility of the news source. I’m sure Condi take much better photos than that. I’m sure the photographer got lot better shots out of that series. If he didn’t, he should be canned.
As for Condi, my big bone to pick with her was her (and Colin Powell’s, and even Bush’s) habitual admonishments to Israel to not overdue it when they would suffer a terrorist attack.
You know, when someone attacks your nation, you send a big enough message to make it too costly to do it again.
Israel’s playing nice, has undoubtedly cost Israeli lives, and that’s the only true gauge of whether you’re doing things right or not.
When it comes to terrorists, kick em in the nuts Israel. Better yet, shoot them there if it suits you. Then finish the job.
Her credibility zeroed out when she supported Obama.
Well, let’s see if she sues. That’s usually a strong indicator. I don’t think Cheney would leave himself open.
Hummm,I believe Cheney.
I always thought she was a bit of an odd duck...I always liked her...thought she represented the USA well...but a bit odd in her personal life.
Now, now, be nice. LOL
Definitely, I’m with Cheney too.
And as for Condi, if she wasn’t crying then it sounds like she is now.
I really dislike whining.
Name one real, significant Condi Rice accomplishment as Sec. of State.
I mean for our side.
The 2006 cease fire she brokered that saved Hizballah and allowed them to rearm and refortify southern Lebanon doesn't count.
She is what she is, a school marm... and an Arabist.
Hi Dita,(((((Hugs))))))Lot’s of cry babies over this book-Hehehehehe
Looks like Botox or a bee sting.
She did not look like that the last time I saw her interviewed.
Ba-DING! Wonder Warthog comes off the top rope and delivers the body slam!
Its really about different foreign policy doctrines or foreign policy schools.
Cheney is a NeoCon. Rice and Powell are Realists. Albright is a Liberal Interventionist.
Republican presidents usually have Realists serving as Sec of State and National Security Adviser while the Sec Def job usually goes to a NeoCon. Dem presidents usually have Realists serving as Sec Def and NSA while the Sec State usually goes to a Liberal Interventionist.
Under GHW Bush the Realists had the upper hand over the NeoCons. Under GW Bush the NeoCons had the upper hand over the Realists.
That picture looks like fighter Mike Tyson in Drag.
What a terrible pic. Always thought she was overrated.
That and the fact that the story is from Reuters makes me not believe that all Condi's remarks were reported here.
Most likely these remarked were air-lifted from the context in which she said them.
I'm not saying she didn't...I have heard some people say it but I have never seen it backed up by anything solid.
I agree with the arabist, but she ended it for me when she went to the Christian black slave camps in Sudan dressed to the nines, walked around as if she was untouchable for less than fifteen minutes and walked away. Turned her back and walked away from those poor people, and never looked back, then went to abbas and gave a speech about freedom for the poor, oppressed falsestinians. No respect for her whatsoever after that.

From the article...
She never said who she planned to vote for, but had hinted broadly that she would support McCain by repeatedly stressing that she is a Republican.
