Tell me about it. I have the 3-speed 5.3 in my general motors Silverado. Bought at a killer deal (22k for a 34k truck) right before they took the Bush loan at end ‘08, 6 months before they became gov’t mtrs.

First and last new gm I’ll ever own. Unless I can find a NIB 63 ‘vette...

If it's a 3 speed, something is wrong with your transmission. That should be at least a 4 speed.

However, something wrong with it isn't exactly uncommon:
