President Obama coasted into the White House thanks in part to the youth vote, individuals aged 18-29 who bought into his vague promise to bring change. During Mr. Obamas term in office, however, many of this group - known as Millennials - have been forced to learn how to subsist on pocket change. This isnt quite what they were expecting when they turned out in historic droves in 2008.
According to a recent poll commissioned by Generation Opportunity, 57 percent of Millennials participating said they will learn more about the policy positions of presidential candidates in the 2012 election than they did in 2008. This is bad news for Mr. Obama, who is encumbered with a record that hurts young adults. His $825 billion so-called stimulus robbed the private sector of cash needed for job growth, while Obamacare will squeeze money from these healthiest of Americans through fines and forced participation to subsidize treatment for old sick people.
Young people are disillusioned after 2008, when the message was change, points out Surbhi Godsay of the youth-research organization CIRCLE. Now, she says, theyre concerned about employment. And for good reason.
Statistics show that Millennials have been hit hard by the high jobless rates around the country. The unemployment rate for 16-24 year-olds is a staggering 18.1 percent, down from the record-breaking high of 19.1 percent a year ago, while 25-34 year-olds face a rate of 9.7 percent, higher than the national average. Among Millennials, Everybody knows somebody whos really been struggling to find a job, explains Paul Conway, president of Generation Opportunity.

Interesting how gaining wisdom a becoming less liberal is one and the same.

Think about it...major implications

There is a group on Facebook “I will not vote for Obama in 2012”.

Ahhhhh, to be young and stupid again. Who can forget those days...
"while Obamacare will squeeze money from these healthiest of Americans through fines and forced participation to subsidize treatment for old sick people."
You know, I never thought about it this way. My one daughter sold me down the river voting for Obama and my kids are in this age group. Even though a lifetime of teaching, she made the mistake and fell for "Hope and Change". Perhaps Obamacare isn't so bad. It's a way to get back at all of these idiot young people who voted for Obama. I'll get a hip replacement even if I don't need it. Just to get back at the Hope and Changers....

Well, he's losing the Yute vote. According to another article, he's losing the Hispanic vote. All he'll have left is the Coloured vote, and they only make up 12% of the population. It looks like Obama is toast...

Young people who voted for Obama destroyed their own future.
It seems that every generation must learn the hard way how damaging Democrat rule really is, to cut through the media propaganda.

Just like with Carter, it's getting harder to find anyone who says they voted for him in 2008. Oh, there's the die hard lefty crowd who still have their 2008 Obummer sticker but they're mostly the usual academic types. The fact is Barry is our affirmative action president with predictable results. With all the qualified black folks out there it's a crying shame this guy was the first black president. He's set black folks back fifty years, at least. It'll take a while, but the results of his being elected are going to be far reaching in ways the fascist crowd can't even imagine.

Perhaps next year, young voters wont be so easily duped by empty slogans.
One can only hope.

His black support has fallen to 83% now, from 90% in may.
It was 97% in 2008.

As far as the youth vote you can thank
Our colleges who brain wash the students with Marxist BS
But more so Hollywood who portrays the Black guy as the hero who saves the planet and has the white guy as comic relief or playing second fiddle
Really sad the way the public laps up this obvious racial bias without a complaint

He is no different than the first black Miss America who got busted making nude photos with a woman. This was a terrible embarrassment for my black coworkers and they were very ashamed.

This article only proves to me my assertions that Obuggery is a by-product of the brain-dead reality television sub-culture that are youth have been inundated with.

Thinking back to my youth, I can't be too hard on her or young people in general. I was idealistic and thought government could solve a lot of the worlds problems. I admit it. However, I was never dumb enough to vote for Jimmy Carter or Walter Mondale over Ronald Reagan.

What’s his support among Muslims, illegals, and dead people?
