The problem for conservatives of all stripes is when it dawns on them that what they’re reading really could be correct.

What do you do if Perry really is leading?

What do you do if he really does become the nominee?

It’s my take that big wins are produced by the biggest differences.

Look at the Bush races. They were incredibly close. Why? Was it because the populace saw Bush as too radically Conservative? Was it because Bush was seen by many to be another Dole-like moderate?

We gave the voters the Leftist we said they wanted in 2008. How did that work out for us?

I think Perry could beat Obama. That is not my sole criteria here. It’s my job as a Conservative to advocate for the most Conservative person we can loft at this point in the political process.

If that fails, it’s my job to fall in behind someone else, if I don’t think that guy will also cause harm to our nation.

Any candidate who can’t get the border issue straight, causes me to understand that they will do harm to our nation. It telegraphs a mindset that is globalist, far more than my sensitivities will accept.

I have said it before and I mean it. If people want my support in November 2012, nominate someone I can in good conscience vote for.

It’s not my job to vote against people. It’s my job to vote for qualified people, who will not screw us over further.
