Isn’t the template that the RAT media wants Romney to be the nominee? How does this help that?
Exactly and the polls are only leftist if Palin isn’t winning.
It seems to me that both parties are troubled by the candidacy of true Conservatives. Bachmann for example, is considered by the Republican leadership to be somewhat of a sell-out, starting the Tea Party Caucus and standing with the Tea Party in their refusal to vote for the debt ceiling increase.
Cain is probably seen pretty much the same way, in that he is not your average moderate Republican. The man truly seems to get it. I need to know more about him, but this is how I see him to this point.
I see Bachmann and Cain as rather tried and true Conservatives.
I see Romney and Perry as moderate Republicans. On some matters Perry is better than Romney, but I think they are both main-stream party governors.
In the same manner that I think the Left was rather happy to see McCain get the nod in 2008, I think the Left would rather see Romney or Perry vs Bachmann or Cain.
One of my close family relatives actually voted for McCain in 2008, and they’re a flaming 70s liberal on most matters.
What good does it do us to loft people 70s flaming liberals can vote for?
For the record, I do not see Romney or Perry a being as bad as McCain. McCain has been undercutting Conservatism for decades. He has had working relationships with Soros and most of the worst Leftists in government.
