This is really disgusting! The so called “Bus Tour” was not a bus tour at all !
An AP reporter said that Obama might have ridden these expensive buses only one mile at each stop. Therefore, it wasn’t really a "BUS TOUR"! Obamaspent most of the “BUS TOUR” on an airplane traveling between stops. Itlooks like Obama has scammed the American people again........with the help of the liberal media. It’s no damn telling just how much this "show" cost the American taxpayer.

I was sorta surprised to hear about his bus campaign. The last I heard it was in the works. (On the “name the bus tour” thread I proposed “The America Under the Bus Tour”. Sounds like he already had it!? Dang - and I missed it - this was the first I heard!

Nice numbers. Now, what was the size height x width x wheelbase of the bus? See, the roll-in capacity has to include the transition change in height as it goes in over the ramp....

If those are the right dimensions, it would probably fit, but just barely, height-wise. If there’s nothing mounted on top.
By the way, coaches like that have air suspensions which would allow them to lower it a bit. You’d have to factor that in.
The tallest bus Prevost makes is 12ft 5 in. (No idea what the Obamabus is).
lengthwise, around 45 feet max., width, no more than 102 inches for everybody, including President Downgrade.

Remember all the hell Palin caught for not giving her itenerary to the press...”someone is going to have a car accident if the press does not know”.....the press said they would just follow and create a big traffic disruption. But we did not see Obama traveling the countryside....only his triumphal entry as the convoy arrived in this hamlet or town. Did the press follow him? Did anyone see transport aircraft arriving in nearby target cities? If this is true, hell should visit Mr.obama.
Actually not funny at all. If you do a search, there wasn't much news at all about the bus trip. Sure, there were reports about the buses, and reports about a few of the bus stops, but that was all. There were supposed to be reporters on those buses but there was a paucity of news articles written about the whole bus listening tour. If all those reporters were on those buses, where are all the stories? My guess is it was a rolling party for the stenographers, er, reporters.
Is it not well-known that Barky prefers limos, crack and gay dudes to buses, health food and wookies?
I don’t know which is sadder—fact that dear leader mislead the American Public (AGAIN) OR THAT our press is not doing their job REPORTING the NEWS (AGAIN)!!

There are 4x big air conditioners on top of the Obamabus.
Theoretically .... If the C-17 had “flat” roll-on ramps under the tail lift ramp. But then there would be no other room inside for the other 14 vehicles the SS wants.
Also, the “bottom” clearance below the chassis needs to be higher .. The C-17 and C-5 and C-130/C-141 bodies and ramps and tails are made for military spec 4-wheel drive axle clearances.
The buses are low-ground clearance, long distance between axles. Combine the two, and even Obama’s LIMO could not getup and over the “civilian limo” rated ramp at the Buckingham palace!
Note that we still have nothing the “assumption” of the AP writer that Obama rode the bus between all stops. Or even most of the stops.

Once, president Reagan flew into Tuscaloosa, Alabama to speak at the University of Alabama. They brought in Air Force One of course, and a C-141 Starlifter with all the secret service limos( 6 I think) and the C-141 support truck. After the speech, and when they were departing, Air Force One left out OK but the C-141, now loaded with full fuel, the secret service cars, and support truck sank through the taxi way up to its wings lol. It took them 2 days to lift it up with big air bags under the wings and had a tank and a D9 Caterpiller pull it onto solid ground. Oops lol. President Reagan gave a rousing speech, by the way, and is one of my most cherished experiences.
