Just as I said. According to O4P insiders , Palin lured Perry into the race to pop Romney's bubble and are relying on Romney to go negative on Perry and pop Perry's bubble and thus the reason for Palin's late entry. Read the article , Team Romney is getting ready to pull the trigger.

There was a good article on how Palin lured Perry into the race by letting him believe she was out because he had said he would not run if Palin was running.

This all seems to rest on the premise that Romney has a snowball’s chance in Dallas of doing any better than he did the last time. Remember the last time?

Now, having crawled way out on the very edge of a political ledge trashing everyone who isn't Palin, what are you all going to do if she doesn't run?

I think his point is that Perry and Romney is obviously planning to battle it out big time against each other (They don’t like each other from previous years) Thus a third person (Palin) will come and be the wise sage while the boys fight it out

Flame me if you want but the scenerio is not mine. I remember when Dean and Gephardt led in the democratic polls in 04 but the two locked up in a negative battle against each other and voters picked Kerry in IA , who was in 3rd place.

What article might that be? This piece says that Mittens is planning on hitting Perry from the left because he is a crazy extremist. I didn’t see any Palin motives mentioned at all in this article.

You didn’t actually READ the article did you?
By its essence, Palin fits the Romney mold.
We’re not settling, or embracing a quitter.
It’s all in.
Now.

Maybe Palin runs , maybe not but one thing is for sure , the nominee will not be Perry or Romney. Romney because he is known and Perry for what will be found out about him.
