Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a commanding lead in the 2012 GOP presidential race, and that wont likely change if tea party favorite Sarah Palin decides to run, a new CNN/ORC International poll indicates....The polls data show that, for now, Mr. Perry is the clear favorite of tea party supporters. Ms. Palin won support from 10% of voters, leaving her in third place just ahead of Mrs. Bachmann.

There are no Perry haters....there are however activists plugging for their favorite....and they will bring the facts on the table for all to see for those who opose their candidate...and vice -versie......regardless.
I can’t say I know what Palin will do....she’s one smart woman and there’s a lot of back door figuring as the party lines itself up. She’s going to play a pivital role regardless if she runs or not....and all the candidates know this.
Give up on the Reagan analogy - it doesn't hold water. Reagan had decades of campaign experience and exposure on the national political stage, and he had an experienced political organization and an established fundraising machine. He had already run for president twice, and knew exactly what he was facing. You can't say that about Sarah.

Seriously though, I just searched both Yahoo and Google, and I can’t find anywhere what you claim Palin said about the GOP field.
Yeah, CNN how bout my ocean front property in AZ.
Run Sarah, Run!!
"Sarah Palin has raised questions over her staunch criticism of state health care after the former Alaska governor admitted her own family used to "zoom" over the border to get treated in Canada's hospitals. "
Did she say that there is nobody worth supporting, or that she won’t support anybody at this point?
If it’s the former, she’s being even more divisive within the than I was giving her credit for being.
I didn't say that about Palin. I said Reagan didn't enter until Novemeber...Palin can wait as long as she thinks she should as will the others who have not yet declared. The race hasn't even begun yet...the candidates are still being paraded....the first debate was simply a show for the early arrivals.
Regardless.... her exposure and following has stood the test of time and tide and I see very little collapsing of her base where it matters.....most re cognize she does not play by political rules and thus far it certainly has worked for her.
Agreed on all counts. I left the Republicans in 2007. I decided I didn’t want to be a member of a moderate national political party.

Different time and processes in place back when President Reagan was running. There are some drop dead dates rapidly approaching which the candidates have to meet in order to be on the primary ballots in 2012. The start with the following:
Oct. 31, - Florida
Nov. 1, - South Carolina
Nov. 18, - New Hampshire
Perry should Tweet an article about Palin’s quitting record.
Palin as good as she is emphasis she can not win not now against 0bama. Perry can win. Palin VP or better the head of energy notice how I did not say czar. Palin later Perry now.

Run Sarah, Run!!”
Throw in a commie flag and they will be on it!
They were saying the same thing about Romney when there was talk that Perry may jump in. And who cares anyway. If we are going to let the media pick our nominee for us before we even allow them to finish the primary debates , why even bother with debates? Why bother with the primary at all?
Hmmm? Who’s scouting the opposition? I’m sorry. I haven’t been following the thread. Are you saying you’re scouting a Perry thread because he’s the opposition?
I agree, I have seen very little erosion to her base. What concerns me, however, is that I have seen no improvement in her standings with people outside of her base, despite having been on the campaign trail for almost three years. (Yes, she has been campaigning, with her reality show, her bus tour, her Fox commentator position.) The question is not whether the hard-core Palin supporters will vote for her - it is whether anyone else will. That is an open question, and it does not look good for her at this time.
You really are a lying piece of crap aren't you?
Why should we put up with someone as deceitful as you are here?
Makes one wonder if he isn't going to get behind Obama's plan. further perry's determined to "unite" the entire southern border with Mexico's Northern border....which is why he wants open borders.
Perry wants to see the area become an industrial hub with plenty of 'cheap labor' to attract companies there....while he milks the revenues from the companies for his state coffers, and gets all the grants from the tax payer Federal Gov. to build it all with.
For that if he wins the Pres. he will no doubt paly the game he has in texas..."Pay to play" is hugely his game. He is up for sale to the highest bidder...and his record attests to this.
Great post, and I feel the same way except I really like what Michelle Bachmann offers to the GOP debate as well.
I’d love to see the nomination become a 3-way race between Perry, Palin, and Bachmann, as each offer their own great ideas and aren’t afraid to speak their minds.
The problem with FR these days is that the Palin zealots become unhinged at anything less that 100% dedication to her and 100% smearing of any other GOP primary candidate.
