Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a commanding lead in the 2012 GOP presidential race, and that wont likely change if tea party favorite Sarah Palin decides to run, a new CNN/ORC International poll indicates....The polls data show that, for now, Mr. Perry is the clear favorite of tea party supporters. Ms. Palin won support from 10% of voters, leaving her in third place just ahead of Mrs. Bachmann.

Agreed. But when George Jetson gets in and announces in Oct,Nov,maybe Dec, probably Jan.,could be Feb. he will beat all. He is actually already President he is so superb he does not even have to run.I should know I am his campaign manager and he has a super secret plan and will make a PPV movie out soon.

Even if Palin gets into the race, she will not get the nomination. The nominee will either be Romney or Perry. Most likely Perry. If Perry or Romney wins the nomination, Marco Rubio would be a very good choice for VP. This would be a very strong ticket and would kick the $hit out of an Obama/Biden ticket. (IMHO)

Tired of CNN the Media the elites, the establishment politicians telling me who is going to win an election that is over a year away. Unfortunately too many are buying the hooplah.....further if you're not for their candidate....you're for Obama... Go figure that one...sheesh...

We’ll see how you Perry folks react when she does jump in. That should be for some great entertainment!

I don’t care for Perry at all, but I don’t think a female can win this time.
People aren’t ready for another first. Things are too bad and it will be hard to focus an election on hype over the first female as a nominee in the GOP.

The big difference?
Political patronage. People here who don't really know what makes her tick underestimate her passion on this.

Bull crap...if Palin determines not to run..then that’s it...her decision... She doesn’t run...and Freepers who have supported her will support her in whatever avenue she goes working this election.
Freepers are not that thin skinned for crying out loud. They know well what is at stake in this election. Which is why they will vote for a true conservative and not some Rhino playing the role of one.

My personal prediction is that Palin will get in ... she will begin leading in the polls and she and Perry will make a deal that he gets the veep spot. They would make a good team. Beauty and the other beauty.

Actually, no she didnt. She stated if Romney got the nod, shed stump for him based on Anybody but Obama.
Right. That is what she said.

Unlike you Perry haters and your irrational posts, it won't phase me one bit. I like Sarah, if she gets in she will be the 2nd best candidate in the field . . . lacking only in having as much experience and success as Perry in governing.
She is strong, charismatic, attractive, quick witted with a rapier for a tongue and a gift for reducing the unnecessarily complex to its simple essence with humor. She has gained immensely in character and poise over these past couple of years.
If not Perry, then she would be my second choice--all of that contingent on Perry's continued stellar performance, he could mess up and lose me and a lot of others, but I don't foresee that happening.
Messes you up, doesn't it, that I'm not unhinged about Palin the way you and your cohorts appear to be about Perry . . . but then I'm not a member of a cult of personality, I like people but I don't worship them.

Reagan never entered the race until November....and Palin isn’t the only one holding back from declaring.

Yeh, Sarah said that she still couldn’t support any in the current field. I tend to agree with her. If she jumps in, I would still agree with her on that. LOL
Maybe she is the one she has been waiting for!

Personally I think Governor Palin is working the back channels trying to convince someone else to get in. Don't know who that would be, but whoever that “who” is, is the one really driving her decision.

For someone who claims not to worship anyone, you sure do get your panties in a twist.

I’d have no problem with Palin being a king maker if she doesn’t run....though we’re all certainly willing to wait even til Novemeber to see what she’s determined.
Meanwhile the candidates have their hour of theater and Perry has his for the moment...pushing Bachman asise for a time...and she’s letting him have his day...for now...Ol’ Romney still keeps quite as well...this will all change in due time...

I've been trying to get a Perry supporter to help me understand how you support him considering his softness on illegal immigration and his continual pandering to the La Raza/open borders crowd. He has a pretty poor record on this subject, one that is extremely important to our ongoing fight against collapse (and liberalism for that matter).
Can you explain this one to me?

It really doesn’t matter what the polls say today. Sarah Palin IS going to be the nominee.
