Good stuff to show people who believe he’s the smartest guy in the room.

*******

I think that we are too hard on Obama and his average writing skills.

That is, as long I can understand his concession speech come election night Nov. 2012, I am going to give Obama some slack when it comes to his writing skills.

Most of the day to day work was carried out by the managing editor of the Review, my predecessor, a great guy called Tom Pirelli whose actually going to be one of the assistant attorney generals now.

If he was called Tom Pirelli, what was his real name?

"whose actually going to be" is this writing typical of harvhard legal types?

My pleasure.

In other words, it is OK to take credit and benefit from the hard work of others.

In Obama's case, it seems to be required. :-)

From 1990 interview with vanity fair, regarding the law review. Titled: Kicking down Doors.
“If I go into politics it should grow out of work I’ve done on the local level, not because I’m some media creation.” Though, as media creations go, he’d be a pretty good one.

What an odd thing to say when you are 28, but a media creation is what he is.

Kind of cringeworthy, isn’t it?

Corrected:

The English literature teacher of my former youth would cringe at a composition written in this manner.

Seven english teachers would read this and find seven different things wrong with it. Altough there is proper English so to speak, how you go about it is mostly opinion.

You miss the point entirely.

None of that matters. What matters is she is negro and chosen

In my experience, the bar exam is strictly controlled and would be nearly impossible to cheat.

However, there is a big problem with law schools admitting certain candidates in pursuit of the “Diversity” holy grail and finding that same have difficulty passing the bar exam.

I know that free bar review classes are offered and probably other help to avoid turning this situation into a real embarrassment, but in the end the bar exam is pretty simple if you can memorize the outlines. It really relates very little to actual law school classwork, except for the essay portion.

Whether or not they grade on a curve for certain demographics, I don’t know. I’m white!!! But it wouldn’t surprise me. You wouldn’t believe the PC diversity nonsense that infects state and local bar associations.

I think the records are all locked up because every elective course he took was slanted towards socialism/communism/revolution.

You can learn a lot by what someone would choose as their elective courses.

At Columbia? We should research what was available in his college years.

Remember November 2008 (right after the election) when David Brooks of the New York Times said Bush should just step aside and let BO start governing NOW? Not even wait for the Bush term to end in January ‘09?

****

I saw Chris Matthews moan the same sentiment right after the election. He claimed that Obama could solve the economic crisis if he could just get started immediately. That is the last time I have ever watched one moment of Chris Matthews. If someone who believes in magic can host his own show, he will do it without my participation.

Wow! That was written by a coke head. I used to work for one and the thought processes and syntax are very similar. I will admit(after years of reading and writing very technical information) that I am no Hemingway but I can get complex ideas and information across to the audience, I can't even figure out where 0 was headed in this letter.

AKA using big or ‘smart’ words to sound impressive and hide a lack of knowledge.

I once had a black t/sgt, who must have been socially promoted. He once told a group of us to "Simonize" our watches, meaning synchronize them, of course.

I would therefore agree with the suggestion that in the future, our concern in this area is most appropriately directed at any employer who would even insinuate that someone with Mr. Chen's extraordinary record of academic success might be somehow unqualified for work in a corporate law firm, or that such success might be somehow undeserved.

It sounds like one of those Nigerian scam letters:

I would therefore agree to send this offer for 107,000,000 MILLION DOLLAERS, our concern in this area is most appropriately directed at (your name) who would even profit from this extraordinary sums of money.
