On NBC MTP David Gregory lined up the coastal state governors and asked each to give a short description of how things went. So first you have Christie then ‘ tax em again and again Martin O’ Mally (Maryland)‘ in that order and old Martin says “Obama did a really great job straighting up FEMA. Everything went great with him as president ”. He is definitely looking for a federal office after raising all those taxes and then getting easily Re-elected as governor and he now is turning up on the Sunday shows. I hate him.
O Malley is following California and announced a study to estimate how much state sales tax revenue the state is losing due to internet/out of state sales. It is not hard to guess the purpose of these state studies, to get the Federal government to force states to collect taxes from other states residents. Naturally he raised the state sales tax but dead-beats like me are avoiding it as much as we can.
