When you hear every single liberal media outlet in the country say, "We will know more about Rick Perry after we vet his 11 years in office," you need to understand that what they vindictively mean is: "President Obama and his followers will be proud of us after we are done with the mother of all smearing campaigns against the conservative governor of Texas."
Not since Ronald Reagan has a Republican candidate for president evoked such outright fear and loathing from the mainstream media and the far-left.
They are flat-out petrified of Perry and are desperately trying to kill off his candidacy before it can take hold. Why?
Simple. As they suspiciously heap praise on the likes of Jon Huntsman and even Mitt Romney, they increasingly worry that Perry has the best chance to defeat their handpicked socialist messiah now occupying the Oval Office.
With exactly that mission in mind, an editor of a major newspaper told me: "We plan to declare war on Rick Perry and do all in our power to crush him."

Ping
That’s a difficult generalization to make. Palinistas know how Palin was treated and I think I can easily say, they do not want that treatment for others.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
I don't mean to over-generalize. I am just going by the behavior of some of the Palin supporters on this board.
Smear campaign against Perry is being driven by atheists and homosexuals - not Palinistas - they hate her too. It’s all about G-d, liberals hate Him and refuse to submit to His will.
When you have to go to lefty information to try and make a case is when you know something is terribly wrong going on here.
Not that surprising since all three camps have an extreme emotion based attachment to their candidate of choice.
It's the "politics as sport" mentality in action
No ONE, NO, NO ONE has ever had to endure the kind of scrutiny as Rick Perry. No one has ever been vetted like Rick Perry. No other candidate has ever had to go through an opponent placing a full-page ad volunteering to pay money for someone to come forward it they have had sex with the candidate.
Which is why you bust a blood vessel every time someone criticizes Perry but doesn't fit your stereotype that they're either a "Paultard" or "waiting for Sarah". There just might be other conservatives out there who don't think Rick Perry is the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan. Imagine that.
Or maybe we don’t think Perry is the conservative you do and want Palin to save our country.
“Left And Right Going Nuclear On Rick Perry”
Well the left is to be expected. The right? Bitter Palistinians who thought she’d have announced by now, who are coming to realize that she might not....So they need to take their frustrations out on the leading candidate in the race.
God help us all if she gets in and polls around 10%.....there will gnashing of teeth. Perhaps an open wrist or two. One thing that won’t happen? Those folks aren’t going to magically become more fun to talk to.
I am not speaking of the average conservative that likes Sarah and would probably vote for her in the primary. I’m talking about the zealots that feel a compulsion to attack, in the most viscious ways, other candidates.....because you know...that is WSWD.
I would be one of those. I don't believe Perry is another Reagan, or Palin is another Reagan, or Bachmann, etc. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have lived when Reagan was president, to have met him and worked for his election. I don't expect to see another leader like him in my lifetime. That doesn't mean that Perry or Palin cannot be great leaders - but they will not be another Reagan.
Are you saying the Perry bashers on this board are either Athiests or Homosexuals?
They (MSM) will try to play the choice between Palin-Perry-Bachmann-Paul as drama where factions will abstain if their person doesn’t win.
Could not be further from the truth. Any of the above is preferable to Romney-Huntsman. They know that whoever of the four gets nominated will stay right and win.
Funny you'd concede that fact, considering the Rick Perry fan club compares him to Ronald Reagan in every thread. "Rick Perry switched parties? Well REAGAN did too!!" (ignoring the fact that Reagan's party switch wasn't anything like Perry's... Reagan wasn't campaign manager for a socialist RAT a year before becoming a Republican, for starters)
Rick Perry seems a lot closer to GWB than Ronald Reagan in terms of what kind of leader he is, though Perry fans will continually insist GWB can't stand Perry.
Yep. As I said -- you Perrybots simply cannot fathom the thought that "Palinistas" and "Paultards" aren't the ONLY conservatives who dislike your guy.
I am no Perry “bot.” I have comitted no support nor money to any candidate yet and likely will not until after Christmas. I do like in order, Perry, Palin (in spite of her less than pleasant supporters) Cain, Santorum and (with the same caveat as Palin supporters) Paul.
Palin was vetted to the nth degree and what they found made her look better.
Perry has already jumped the shark on a couple issues of real concern, was endorsed by Dems in the past and is holding hands with the Bush camp. There are a lot of people who don’t hate him but are concerned about giving him their vote. If he’s got greater hidden qualities than some of his flubs might indicate, investigation may reveal more reasons to vote confidently for Perry.
The investigative test of fire certainly proofed Sarah Palin’s integrity. Vet away!
