Most likely a CCW holder.

Did you read your own post :)?
Fifth line.
Apart from the shock of the round hitting his physical person, I always like to imagine the surprise involved when some piece of walking filth finds out the world may be armed also.

I carry a small caliber handgun and my first thought upon reading this was that I wondered if my peashooter would do enough damage to prevent him firing back.
I keep a .357 in the house, but it's too heavy to carry around.

watch the video it was a CCW holder and the sheriff did his best ‘well we don't recommend it but he didn't do anything wrong’ speech...

The customer was licensed to carry a concealed weapon. Yep. Most likely a CCW holder.
WV is a "shall issue" state.

Good shoot. CCW gives robbers a whole new set of calculations to deal with.
That old guy in the back corner of the store might just put one behind your ear.

Might have been different if the EMT’s hadn’t decided to drive through Morgantown on the way :)

A both sad and good ending for sure. With the way things are going around the country it’s likely to be a more frequent happening. Being prepared is a key to survival,Both wife n I carry (ccw)

David Douglas Roberts entered the store wearing a mask and pointing a shotgun. While in the process of stealing several hundred dollars, Roberts was shot by a customer in the store who was carrying a firearm. I didn't know she was in WV?

What hollow point is the best for .45 ACP?
Something that WILL put ‘em down.

Hmmm.
Although I certainly support CCW and right to protect, I wonder if this guy maybe over-stepped the original reason for CCW.
I suppose if the shotgun totin' perp pointed or threatened the CCW holder, certainly he/she would be justified in self-defense use of his firearm.
However, if he/she was just "playing cops and robbers" and was NOT a member of LE, there MAY be some disagreements on his/her use of a defensive firearm legally carried.
