Poor thing, whine to the mods.
Says all I/we need to know.

You prolly oughtn't to worry so much about the election.
Your mouth is your biggest enemy.

I don’t get why people get so bothered if someone says “She’s not running.”

Everyone who wants to take a guess is free to do so. Palin is done no harm thereby.

I have no idea what she’s going to do. I think she does, which is what matters.

Gov. Palin is not running.

Nope. Merely sauntering.

Cheers!

nothing is going to bite anything. You MIGHT get to say “nanny nanny boo boo you were wrong!” That’s it.

Oh ho ho... just you wait .. LOL

You've made your "prediction" about Palin not running too many times to get off that easy, mate. Just buck up and take it when it comes ;-)

I am sure your invective will be DEVASTATING. I might even frown for 10 seconds...

Now, if I am right are you ready for my onslaught of Iggy Woods’ style end zone dancing on your head?

Oh noes! Not the Iggy Woods end zone dance!!! LOL

Well, there's little chance that Palin won't run. She just would not have allowed the speculation to run this high, for so long, if she had any doubts about stepping in. She truly does love and respect her fellow Americans far too much to set them up for such an enormous disappointment. She's simply bigger than that, and much too smart not to realize how damaging such a thing would be to the entire process.

Frankly, I'm really not the type to endlessly rub it in, when someone's been wrong, but you've got a couple of zingers coming, my friend ;-)

That is absolutely fair and deserved, should it come to pass. I wont just take my hat off and shuffle my feet — I will SCREAM I was wrong and let all know how wrong I was.

Now, should Gov. Palin indeed run, I will have to rethink the entire race. In a good way.

Won't be any need for all that, if things develop as it appears they're going to. I won't even demand that you jump on the bandwagon - just let her have her say and run the best race she can.

We'll all get through this together (though we're gonna fight like kids the whole way, it looks like).

Have a good night.

Why? Because she’s not doing exactly what the media, establishment Republicans, and “The Politicians Guide to Running for the Presidency” tell her to do? She’s not a typical politician and the people of Alaska LOVED that about her....but the political types? Not so much

You also have a great night.

I agree we are closer than we are separate.

But, should Gov. Palin run I will absolutely let you laugh all over me (with good reason — to the victor goes the spoils).

Then I will work my butt off to get her elected. Because we only get a few Gov. Palins in our lives, or in political history. Whether she is messing with people now or not (and why shouldn’t she?) she has that X factor and hews to Conservative values like few before her.

Buenos noches, amigo.

What's the big hurry for anyhow?

In the end we're gonna have to wait (and wait) for the "undecided moderate" sheeple who don't typically take notice until much, much, much later.

She can wait until mid-October or November for all I care. I love seeing the media freaking out about it anyway!

(OK, and watching the few Freaked out Freepers too)

Good vibes, brother. Glad to know you’ll be there when the time comes for us to lock arms and move as one. As will I, no matter what it takes to remove the Kenyan.

G’night.

To: Huck
She says she still hasn't made up her mind. Is she "above board" when she says that? If she is sending "signs" that she is, then she isn't being above board when she says she's still deciding.

What would you have her say, Huck? "Yes, I'm going to officially join the race on ________." Surely you realize by now that she's delaying her entry for as long as possible as a strategic move, don't you?

To state the obvious, a potential candidate with 100% name recognition gains nothing by entering a crowded field this early. They would subject themselves to endless analysis and comparisons to the other candidates, and lay themselves open to attack by their opponents (and the press).

Such a candidate would be forced to spend precious campaign monies for zero benefit, not to mention the efforts and hard work of their campaign staff and volunteers.

There does come a point where being an officially declared candidate actually pays dividends for someone of Palin's stature, but we're not there yet. Perhaps around the time of the next debates in September.....we will see.

She is wise to have stayed out of the current demolition derby, and to have kept the opposition guessing about her intentions. By doing so, she is proving that she's got a superior grasp of the dynamics involved here, and has the steadiness and control to actually execute a well-formulated plan.
