Will Obama Quit Rather Than Lose Re-election?
Pajamas Media ^ | Ron Radosh

I have been talking for months now that Obama’s problem with being President is that the job involves work. President Obama has never done work before – he is not a capitalist. The capitalist accepts that a job has work attached to it, and that work gets measured – either you succeeded in your work, or you failed. Obama has never had his work measured, and therefore becomes extremely agitated when people question his work, disagree with his answers or, in the case of groups like the Tea Party, actively work to undo his work – like Obamacare.

Since the election in 2008, which involved a complicit press that failed to do any proper vetting (no matter what Thomas Friedman may say!), Obama has shown that he is just not capable. Not only does he understand this, but the voters do. Independents have already turned their back on Obama. Those who turned out for Obama in 2008, specifically hard-core Progressives, and black voters, won’t necessarily vote for another candidate, they’ll just stay home. Obama’s record has made it impossible to win the “turn-out” battle. To quote The Who, we won’t get fooled again.

In a recent interview on the radio show, Vodka Pundit.com’s Stephen Green stated that Obama would much rather resign with “dignity” than go through the embarrassment of losing an election. He was unaware that I said the same thing just days before. A loss is not only a repudiation of Obama, but it closes the book on America’s failed experiment with Statism. It shows conclusively that America tried it, and rejected it. We don’t see ourselves as European Socialists – we’re Americans. Believers in individual liberty, personal responsibility and free markets. Believers in private charity, and the pursuit of Happiness.

I think most liberals just believe Baraq hasn’t had enough time to work his magic yet, so little reason to worry.

That’s why the analyses saying the debt ceiling theater was a huge victory for the GOP because Obama had to give up important stuff and take what the GOP gave him makes me want to puke. Here’s what the GOP gave him: $2.4 TRILLION in election payola, and kicking the can down the road past the election. Those were the only two things Obama cared about, and the GOP gave them to him on a silver platter.

I believe he will win fairly easily, and the country deserves what it gets (namely its own destruction)

“Yes. The Secret Service needs to be at peak performance the next 14 months or so as well. The producers, fabricators and screenwriters may decide a tired farce could be kinetically rewritten as an exciting new tragedy.”

That would solve a good deal of their problems wouldn’t it?

Obama would be instantly sainted for all historical time.

Obamacare would be untouchable.

No asteric after his name for non compliance with Article II (non-NBC).

Opens the door for Hillary or some other Dem also ran.

Wipes the trail from the WH to Soros’ door.

Saves face for the black community at large.

The right would get the blame by the MSM and lib shills...

on and on.......

Yes, the SS had better be on their toes, the left has done this sort of thing before (with Kennedy) and could well see it as a viable option in 2012.

Let's not get overconfident. There are tens of millions of people who depend on the government. Government employees, extended unemployment recipients, food stamp recipients, etc... They are very motivated to get out and vote for Obama and to try to get relatives and friends to do the same. A Republican candidate campaigning on smaller government and less government spending is not going to appeal to people who depend on big government and big spending. Also, Obama will have a billion $ war fund and billions more worth of free infomercials called "the news." As far as "the embarrassment of losing an election," he would simply blame it on racism and go on the college speaking circuit to get his ego stroked by cheering crowds. He's not quitting. He loves campaigning, it's the only thing he's really good at and he can't lose. He either wins or he would have won but for evil racist America.

Republicans for their supposed refusal to pass a plan he has yet to even submit to them sounds like a man who realizes that he’s out of ideas, too.

Out of ideas...what a laugh...the guy never even had an idea. He is not an independent thinker...hasn't a clue how to think...he is programmed into an ideology and that is as far as he can think...the ignorant affirmative action at work.

"could still vote for a black president again without having to vote for a known incompetent."

I don't live in Massachusetts, but my understanding from people who live there, they are aware that he is incompetent. I guess Patrick's job would be to keep it there and not let the secret get out to the rest of the country.

IIRC, he had a menial job as a teenager

He allegedly worked at a Baskin-Robbins in HNL, where for some reason he was assigned an SSN from Connecticut.

The alleged "behind enemy lines" job was a short-term gig as a gofer at some Manhattan slave galley between Columbia and Harvard Law.

None of this, of course, is documented in any serious way.

OK, I see we have a witness to the ice cream gig. Sorry, hawkboy, I posted without seeing the entire thread.

Do you remember him from school?

It WOULD explain, however, his famous addiction to ice cream.

I mean, really!, it makes perfect sense that his only private sector experience had something to do with ice cream doesn’t it?
