Will Obama Quit Rather Than Lose Re-election?
Pajamas Media ^ | Ron Radosh

Posted on 08/23/2011 11:24:14 AM PDT by Hojczyk

I have been talking for months now that Obama’s problem with being President is that the job involves work. President Obama has never done work before – he is not a capitalist. The capitalist accepts that a job has work attached to it, and that work gets measured – either you succeeded in your work, or you failed. Obama has never had his work measured, and therefore becomes extremely agitated when people question his work, disagree with his answers or, in the case of groups like the Tea Party, actively work to undo his work – like Obamacare.

Since the election in 2008, which involved a complicit press that failed to do any proper vetting (no matter what Thomas Friedman may say!), Obama has shown that he is just not capable. Not only does he understand this, but the voters do. Independents have already turned their back on Obama. Those who turned out for Obama in 2008, specifically hard-core Progressives, and black voters, won’t necessarily vote for another candidate, they’ll just stay home. Obama’s record has made it impossible to win the “turn-out” battle. To quote The Who, we won’t get fooled again.

In a recent interview on the radio show, Vodka Pundit.com’s Stephen Green stated that Obama would much rather resign with “dignity” than go through the embarrassment of losing an election. He was unaware that I said the same thing just days before. A loss is not only a repudiation of Obama, but it closes the book on America’s failed experiment with Statism. It shows conclusively that America tried it, and rejected it. We don’t see ourselves as European Socialists – we’re Americans. Believers in individual liberty, personal responsibility and free markets. Believers in private charity, and the pursuit of Happiness.

“Obama has shown that he is just not capable. Not only does he understand this,”

Lost me. The Malignant Narcissistic does not and cannot believe he is incapable. He just blames others.

Obama probably thinks his reelection depends on fundraising and ACORN. His fundraising is going strong and ACORN is gearing up. Plus, he’s planning on (1) destroying the GOP candidate, and (2) the presence of a third party straw candidate.

Anybody who thinks Obama is going to throw in the towel just does not know Malignant Narcissism. Reality is not their strong suit.

I honestly think that Obama became president, not to necessarily change the system, though that may have been a side objective, but to make somebody a lot of money.

Many of the decisions Obama, and the Dems made, could have made somebody a lot of money, if they were aware of the decisions that were made, such as the opening up of the oil reserves or the drop in the credit rating.

We know that Soros made 7 million dollars off those body scanners and some unnamed person made at least a billion, or possibly 10 billion, when the credit rating was dropped.

If I’m right and Obama made Soros, and gang, a lot of money, expect Obama when he leaves to be given a huge money gift.

I love the words....really I do.

But it is a very very very LONG way to November of 2012. And in all that time left, there is more than ample opportunity for the handlers of the stain to employ every gambit, every tactic, every rule from s. alinski, every gaffe by the rino/repub/conserv/tparty side...

Remember: it isn't just the stain who needs to win...it is the entire dem/lib/prog/pop power structure!

The stain is both a narcicist and a coward. He probably also foreign born, but that dog don't hunt no more no how.

However, the regime surrounding the stain are not cowards. They are battle hardened, dishonest, mob mentality, unionized, community organized, socialist, chicago street thugs.

The stain may quit...most assuredly, they won't.

There is only one individual on the right...the conservative right....who I trust to lead us into battle against this horde, fight the war that needs fighting....and emerge bloody, but victorious.

She's not yet declared .... not yet. But we must remain prepared to fight the enemy; the horde. The stain matters very little ... the future of this country matters immensely.

We've got to fight now....and each and every waking minute until election day, Nov. 2012.

And soon....we may in fact receive the leader we've all been waiting for.

zero will not quit. He’s never had it so good. Nor will he accept any responsibility for a loss. He’ll blame it on Bush. congress, racism, the tea party, etc.

Naw, he’ll be a golfing, ice cream eating, partying, apologizing, bike riding, vacation taking, teleprompter reading ex-President, giving the occasional speech for six figures, and writing op-ed drivel in the NY Times.

The Republicans gave him a $2.4T bump on the limit on his re-election credit card.
Of course he’ll run again - and win.

...you didn’t think he was pushing for raising the debt limit for the good of the country, did you?
And there’s no way he’ll resign, as that would admit some kind of failing where perfect doesn’t fail.

Good screed by Radosh... but he overlooks the Cloward-Piven strategy..
Long planned and massively executed.. it was and is genius..
Saul Alinsky was no fool..

Getting rid of Obama will NOT KILL IT... if only it was that easy..
Many Americans HATE AMERICA.. brain washed in OUR schools.. and preached to on the main stream media..

They really don’t know what America “IS”...
They know what America ISn’T..

exactly !!!
you nailed it!

the left hates losing above ALL else. if Obama can’t win, they’ll switch him out (maybe at the last minute, for “medical reasons” or something, like in N.J.

He could resign and not be investigated for the eligibility matter. That would suit his many enabling congresscritters well. They’ll get off scot-free, too.

Besides he’s done what he came to do — change the country for the worse.

there will be no serious challenger from the Democrat party. Do you think any of those lefties will want to challenge the country’s first black President. And then be blamed for bringing the first black President down? It’s just not going to happen.

What lefty democrat challenged JFK and then was blamed for bringing down "Camelot".

let them burn down their own neighborhoods and live in the consequences.

The history up till now has been that every time they do this they become the recipient of more social spending as the powers that be attempt to "address" their concerns

The joke will be on them this time. We're broke.

Yes. The Secret Service needs to be at peak performance the next 14 months or so as well. The producers, fabricators and screenwriters may decide a tired farce could be kinetically rewritten as an exciting new tragedy.

I still thing the Marxists in the democrat party (Read: The Pelosi cabal) knew this from the get go. Obama has accomplished nothing but signing some bills passed to him by the Marxists. (I refuse to use the word progressives) He was as Lenin said, "A useful idiot."

From our perspective, it seems easy to to say that we would just give up if we were not up for the job.

But what we might be underestimating is his lack of concern about not measuring up; and mostly, how many cool things he gets to do because he's president.

The perks of that job are enormous!

That's why people always want the job.

He’ll have to hurry if he decides against running.

And even if the D’s nominate someone else, that is no guarantee of victory for them...just as Bush was McCain’s baggage, Hillary will be dogged by Obama. That’s the reality.

IIRC, he had a menial job as a teenager, he referred to it as working behind enemy lines in one of “his” books.

I doubt he will give up his new lifestyle. Something will “happen” to cancel the election, like martial law or something very very ACORN so the Obamas will continue all their illegal Executive Orders.

The 6. earthquake, Hurricane Irene threatening the East coast, are these not warnings to shape up or ship out? God is weary of being ignored, people! If you all want to go back to life under Him we must shake off Satan’s dust and answer the demanded call to prayer. See what we get when we stray from the will of our Creator.

If they’re planning a last-minute switcheroo they had better have somebody other than Joe Biden waiting in the on-deck circle.

On the other hand the Left does like to have a bloody shirt to wave around and fire up their troops. Like Florida 2000.
