Several well-known researchers recently made unexpected arguments on pedophilia at an academic conference in Baltimore.
Liberty Counsel Action's Matt Barber attended the conference and says he felt he was on a different planet, as the presenting professionals aimed to remove pedophilia from the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). That would mean that pedophilia would no longer be considered a mental disorder.
"The entire focus of the event was on the victimhood of the pedophile," Barber accounts. There was "very little concern for the children who are the victims of these individuals when they are raped, who these individuals lust after," he adds.
And he says the experts' discussions were focused on "destigmatizing pedophilia ... removing the stigma, and [getting] the public to stop demonizing pedophiles."
But the attorney reports that the APA is already moving toward declassifying pedophilia as a mental disorder "by saying that a pedophile is only a pedophile in their latest DSM ... if they are distressed by their attractions or behaviors."
So Barber decides that would bring the APA one step closer to de-classifying pedophilia as a mental disorder, as they did homosexuality in the 1970s.

Maybe being a member of the APA should be added to the DSM...or they could just merge with NAMBLA.
I saw a show back in the early 90s where a pedophile was saying that they were standing back waiting for the homos to finish with their agenda of achieving public acceptance. He said that once the homos were accepted by the public, it wouldn’t take much to convince the public that pedophiles were just a bunch of harmless good old boys also. I laughed at the time. Man was I dumb back in those days.

Yes, it does . . and the really difficult part comes next, during the elimination process.
Pedophilia isn’t a mental illness. It’s an EVIL. - Sometimes I have to pretty much admire people who just take the non-existing law in their own hands. The Communist/Marxist/Fascist/Liberals have just about ruined this country.
No matter how they classify it mentally, pedophilia will always be a mala in se crime.
You don’t have to convince a jury that pedophilia is acceptable, you have to convince them that hanging BEFORE a pronouncement of guilt is bad form.

Yep, go straight to the right solution, without all that mushy, middle-ground stuff.
They did the same thing for homosexuals, and look what happened after that. Little kids in government schools are being encouraged to try it. That means the left is no longer happy just talking about it with the kids. They want the children for more than just talk.

It was these insane scumbags who took homosexuality out of the DSM and started pressing our society to accept them as normal. I knew then it would not be too long before they tried to "normalize" the kiddie diddlers.

I suspect the order to remove pedofelia from the mental disorder list came from a desk in the White House, like Valerie Jarrett’s....
In other words, all they're asking for is "tolerance."
Next comes a hate speech bill. If your kid gets raped, you'll be demonized as a pedophileaphobe for getting upset about it.

NAMBLA for years has been trying to push for “Consent” exemption in the law.
After declassifying pedophilia as a mental disorder they will begin the whole normalizing pedophilia as an alternative life style. Next will be pushing to have the age of consent for lowered.
One of the reasons to push religion in to the background of people’s minds and to make Christianity socially unacceptable is to make the concept of sin (especially sexual sin) seem small minded.
If sin is passé then it is only a small step to make it legal.
Without that there'd be no problem at all inflicting plain old criminal punishments on them.
