If the Republican Presidential race were a poker game, you could say that Palin, the underdog has remained in late position long enough to see the full ring, to expose the live ones. Shes learned their tells, and shes seen some bust, but now its time for her to go all in with what looks to be a royal flush.
If youre not a poker player, you may need a poker dictionary to decipher my analogy. And they think she doesnt know how the game of politics is played. The good old boys just never realized that she wasnt playing by their rules.
If, or rather when, Sarah Palin announces her candidacy for President; Republican polls will likely shift in her favor.
[...]
Its looking more and more these days as if Sarah Palin will announce her run for the White House in short order. If you keep up with Palins history, you may come to the conclusion that there is no accident in her decision to go to Iowa September 3rd for what many believe will be her big announcement. September 3, 2011 is three years, to the day, that Sarah Palin accepted the nomination for Vice President and gave her famously rousing speech during the Republican National Convention.
[..]
72% of likely Republican voters say when casting their primary vote, they favor a candidate who shares their views over one who has a better chance of winning.
That turns the notion of people agreeing with Sarah Palin, but dont think she can win from a negative, into a potential strength. They are going to vote for her regardless, thus, breaking the mold of the typical voter.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. Looks like I was the one that didn’t get the context right.
>> “Lets see how the Iowa Caucuses shake out.” <<
.
They bring in shills from out of state for that one.
She already said that she would announce one way or the other by September.
So why the are-we-there-yet post?
Did you say that Reagan was playing games when he announced in November?
I guess you didn't hear that the Iowa star aw poll was nothing but a big vote auction, and that word went out for Palin supporters to not even bother.
Also, those crowds you shrug off are voters, and so are their families and friends. There's nothing worse for a campaign than an empty venue...
...as opposed to THIS:
Just try to get Palin elected without Republicans!!
That's laughable. Your overriding desire is to insult Sarah. Over and over and over, you attack Sarah. You are obsessed with insulting Sarah.
I am certain that you will be devastated if Sarah is the GOP nominee. Your jealously of Sarah is truly sad. Do yourself and us all a favor and don't comment on Sarah again. You are a broken record.
"Before," the Iowa caucus?
Are you kidding with me?
In a Marathon Primary Season? No way!
I'm in for the long haul.
Pardon me, but one primary doesn't choose the candidate, not even if Governor Palin wins Iowa!
I don't base my support on *early* polls or on *polls* at all. You're hardly a novice. Polls are worthless at this point and polls can be manipulated. Let's wait for a while until debates are well underway with all the candidates participating. It's a Marathon we're talking about.
Do you smell something burning ?
Kinda like fur ?
Thanks for playin'!
Hey Granny, the GOP has tried to throw Sarah under the bus repeatedly, beginning even before the 2008 election and reaching a crescendo with THIS:
Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin
So why should she show any loyalty to this corrupt, good ol' boy organization, that's well on its way to joining the Whig Party in oblivion?
ROFLMAO! You realize I am just being silly, too, right?
LOL!
And as far as me insulting Palin, I have no desire to insult her, she may be my nominee for president but she sure as heck insulted me in her film.
One can't be a conservative and an independent???
What utter nonsense.
An "independent" is somebody who is unaffiliated with a party. Plenty of conservatives are independents. I'm one.
Ha! you show yourself as the Statist you are. I have read Going Rogue and many other sources. The GOP in Alaska was very corrupt, filled with contemptible people. Sarah took them all on and defeated them. Sarah was on the side of the people.
Free Republic is NOT a GOP or Republican site. It is a Conservative site.
I despise RINOs as much as the other Statists -- the evil left. The RINOs, most of the GOP elites and the Rat party all worship at the alter of State Power and corporatism.
Conservatives believe in limited government and true Capitalism.
Those three did sell out the TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVES “WE the People” AND Governor Sarah Palin helped to elect to the House!
What’s to oomplain about? Our Honor? I think NOT!
After the caucus, I have no voice. I’ll do the best I can at the caucus.
Specifically, how did she insult you? Did she call you out by name?
She ends up being quite a bit better general than our enemies and their accomodators would like. Well, isn’t that a shame. Sifted like flour by million dollar investigations that only discovered she was more honorable and hard working than we ever imagined. The smear and lie brigade only can confirm that her character ends up being titanium. I know that just puts a dagger in some people’s hearts. Grabbing at straws like whether painting the flag on her bus is disgracing it, or whether “I am” printed on a T-shirt she wore was a codified swipe at Judeo-Christianity. So desperately pathetic.
Ya”ll better stock up on antacids when she’s sworn in. You’re going to miss one hell of a party.
If you want to check, I have complimented Palin on what she did with the corrupt Republicans in AK. That was not my objection, that came at the end of the film and I’m not going over it again. The end was totally unnecessary and had not relation to the film at all.
