All President vacations are working vacations. I don’t care who the party. You have daily briefs, signing paperwork, etc. It is so ridiculous for both sides to complain about vacations. But it makes people feel good I guess. Obama just passed new “amnesty” nonsense on his vacation. Fun times! The bottom line is I am so grateful to not be President. What an awful existence when 1/2 the population hates you. Plus for only 400K and an expense account is not near enough. A lot of people would have to take a pay cut to become President....no thanks.

I guess the author does not listen to Bush-hating George Noory and regular guests on CoastToCoastAM. This has long been talked about -- including that famous August presidential briefing which -- C2C folks love to spin as actually describing the events to occur on 9/11 -- Bush ignored and off to "yet another vacation."

I got the book from the library, it's very good. I refuse to buy it because of Lance's interviews -- on C2C where else? -- where he pretty much blames Bush (that Aug. briefing and adviser Rice "the terrorists would likely hijack planes" (paraphrasing). His book sticks a little closer to objective facts.

Lance is no truther but the truthers go even further..

Ditto all of the above. Gorelick, especially, should be up for treason. She single-handedly hamstrung the entire interconnected flow of information of the intelligence services of the country. What she did is so indefensible even she can't stomach her own spin. It was a staggeringly open-faced sabotage of America. That she still walks free is revolting.
