At least twelve rockets launched into Israel this morning; Beersheba school hit by Grad; three fired at Ashkelon, one at Beersheba are intercepted; southern Israel hit by nearly 100 Gazan rockets over the weekend.
Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip that killed one man over the weekend continued Sunday morning as at least six Grad rockets were fired at Beersheba, one of which hit an empty school building. At least one other of the Grads was intercepted by the Iron Dome rocket defense system.
Earlier Sunday morning, four mortar shells landed in the Eshkol Regional Council area and six Kassam rockets were fired at the Ashkelon Regional Council, one of which damaged a building. No injuries were reported in the attacks.

I spent a year in Ber’ Sheva, lived in the Ramot neighborhood. I pray for the safety of my friend’s and for all of Israel.
IDF should respond in kind
Counter battery radar should tell them about where to level
Level the four block area where the rockets came from.
Which is why they launch the rockets from areas near homes, schools and hospitals. The NYT would love to publish a story about Israel hitting a hospital.
The response should be to set up 4 or 5 155 mm guns and walk linked fire from the border to the sea. The fire should create a corridor of holes and a thunderous fear inducing noise. There should be no claim of collateral damage because it should be obvious to the dumbest grandmother to evacuate the corridor.
The process should be timed to take at least two days.
100 rockets...Put me in charge...Gaza will be a pasture...
The next war in the mid east has started. Look for continued escalation. Rocket attacks from Lebanon and Syria will be next.
Islam is an insane murder cult. This is what they do, no more surprising than a rabid dog foaming at the mouth.
I believe that Iran will likewise join the fray.
Do you have ANY idea how much artillery shells cost? The days of massed fires like that are pretty much over...
I’d say put a bunch of batteries around Gaza, link to ‘em to counterbattery radar and shell the hell out of where ever the rockers are launched from.
Chances are, the rocket launcher crew will be gone, and you’ll just be shelling a “school,” “hospital” or “orphanage” but that’s the Pali’s problem not the Israelis.
They should also put in a proactive element - UAVs with camera’s and Hellfires. If the UAV sees someone who looks like they are setting up a launcher, it either engages on its own or sends the info the artillery battery. Better yet, you can hold fire, wait for them to leave, and follow them home. Then shell the hell out their homes or HQs.
Consider the cost of 'Iron Dome' anti-missile ordinance!! Shooting down cheap surplus unguided 122mm rockets with 'Iron Dome' anti-missile ordinance is a very big strategic mistake.
The Arabs and Palestinians have been breeding like rabbits for years for the purpose of overpowering Israel and other non-Muslims by shear numbers. The Arabs and Palestinians aren't concerned about population lose. Blood in their streets, along with the help of the liberal MSM, is just another tool to victory.
———Do you have ANY idea how much artillery shells cost?-——
Actually I don’t.
It seemed reasonable that artillery is less expensive than bombs and more accurate in a concentrated area.
Tit fot tat would not be the objective. Destruction and fear, even terror, would be the objective. When women and grandmothers are trembling in fear to scared to move, the young men will cease to be so aggressive .,
Sorry, Iran is the fray. Their proxy is fighting Israel from Gaza. Their other proxies are waiting in the wings in Lebanon and Syria for the “go” signal. It will be interesting to see whose side the president is on.
Israel needs to do what it has to do. The NYT has made up stories about hospitals when none was involved. It will do so again. Let the dwindling readership be treated to something that is true for a change.

To islamists? It can´t be collateral enough. Fire away!
The Pails. are living proof that given time, dogs and pigs will interbreed.
Amen
