I really wonder if Obama plans to pull a LBJ and not run again.

That’s the dangerous thing. He’s always been planning 1 term IMO. No one picks communists and pedophiles for roles, doesn’t even bother to fake going to church, celebrates ramadan & etc. if they plan a 2nd term.
And that’s very dangerous. If they staged/faked his assassination they could probably get 40 years of democrat US domination out of it. Pray that the SS are independent and doing a good job. Hard leftists like Special Ed have been calling for the SS to swear alliegience to Obama! There’s a website - theleftwillkillobama.com.

I really wonder if Obama plans to pull a LBJ and not run again. We'll know when he picks Bo up by the ears (reference to LBJ's beagle).

We can Hope. But probably not. Obama has an ego even bigger than Texas and LBJ.

A post-prosperity America that has dug itself into a multi-trillion-dollar hole will eventually have to stop digging. When I was a kid in the 50s, whenever me or my brothers or our dog would dig a hole in the yard, our parents would tease, "You're digging halfway to China! Hahaha!"
Now, the U.S. government has dug us 7/8ths of the way to China.
It's not so funny anymore.

I wish. We should be so lucky, but I kind of doubt it.

That crossed my mind too. ‘I can’t unite the nation’ and walk away. Democrats maybe turn the reigns over to Biden or some governor, doubt Clinton wants to run. Would be interesting.

That would be the most presidential thing he’s ever done. But no, he won’t. Not only will he campaign, he will run a horribly negative campaign, and cheat and quite possibly worse. Of course, his greatest achievement for the country will be losing in 2012.

That actually might be his secret jobs creation plan. If he announces he's not running again, the markets will go up and companies will start hiring again.

Obama's use of Air Force One 150 miles away to Virginia and to drive through small towns with huge caravans in attendance is a cultural thang. You can see its roots in the pimpmobiles of the 1960's and 70's.
It's Obama's garish, loud, and tacky display of power to his homies. It's important for him to show that he is "living large." That's the way it's done in the Southside.
He doesn't give a d@mn what America thinks. He is always playing to his own private audience..."his people."

That is not something a narcissist would do, imho. With the state-run media, he figures he can get away with anything he damn well pleases. And according to script they play right along.

By contrast, the president of the United States took his personal 747 (a transatlantic aircraft designed to hold 500 people that costs a fifth of a million dollars per hour to run) to go from Washington to a Democratic party retreat in Williamsburg, Va., 150 miles away. just amazing

LBJ polled at 43% in 1967-68, and so, chose not to run. Although this rings a familiar bell, now, we should not assume that BO will also choose not to run- his ego is far bigger than, even, LBJ’s. Besides, the members of the “committee” don’t want to be run out of the WH, not when they are pushing so much of their socialist agenda through.
