When Obama won the election against John McCain in 2008; he did so with a majority of the white vote. That's saying a lot considering the United States is the only nation on the planet whose citizens willingly elected, as their leader, a man who hails from the very class of people that was once considered only 3/5 human.
So if we Americans have grown beyond our racist past, then why is the first black president going after communities across America because he believes they are racist for not having enough blacks and Hispanics living there? Why did Obama instruct his DOJ to stop pursuing civil rights violations committed by nonwhite Americans? Not my accusation, but that of a former leading prosecutor of the DOJ, J. Christian Adams, who resigned over the administration's refusal to prosecute black violators. Adams wrote in a commentary for the New York Times;
"Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims. Equal enforcement of justice is not a priority of this administration. Open contempt is voiced for these types of cases.
If Obama really wants to be, as he said, the president of all Americans, then why has he not asked the DOJ to investigate the escalating black on white violence across America? After all, Obama claimed that hate crimes would not be tolerated by his administration when he signed the new hate crime legislation in October of 2009. I guess he only meant hate crimes against blacks, Hispanics, and gay people, because what is happening across America today is unconscionable./p>

HILLARY=PIAPS=Pig in a Pant Suit...that’s what she was called when running in the primary with barry...it’s still used...and fits her well.
I have here a copy of my favorite LJB speech. I would like our President to have a good look at it.
If he used it to move him and his family out of this country, I would say that it was well spent. After all, he does not seem too happy with the good ol' U.S.A.
Why? He helped to put us into the fix we are in today.
Correct. Plantation owners wanted to be able to cast hundreds, perhaps thousands of votes for their candidate of choice by bundling the votes of their slaves. Granting full suffrage to slaves would also have greatly increased the slave states' position in the Electoral College. The ugly truth is that there was no suffrage for slaves until after the Civil War. Southern slave owners cast votes on behalf of their slaves, albeit only 3/5 of them.
I think the dems are making this decision for barry...they’ll make him offer he can’t refuse. I think he’ll be nixonized by the dems.
If Barry runs and looses as big as I think he will in 2012, the word would go out that he was set up to fail. Talk about a man made disaster.
No, he's running.
Any opposition in the primary by a white Dem will be purely token. The Dems do not have the stones to flush Barry. They've fostered way too much hate for the white man. They are riding a bronco and there is no way to get off. They have cast their fortunes with Barry and they really can't back out now.
He and his minions may invoke the law of unintended consequences..
As I recall, the 3/5 rule did not apply to slaves having a vote, nor the slave-owners casting a vote for them.
Instead, it applied only to the census enumeration. Slaves were counted as 3/5 of a person for the purpose of apportioning Representatives. As a matter of course, this also impacted the Electoral College.
“I guess I will stay clear of them right after the election in November also, because I expect African Americans to be very, very angry when they find out Obama lost in a landslide.”
Even though we live in a semi-rural area, our family will be at DEFCON 1 the day after the election.

Correct. Slave owning states wanted to have slaves counted as part of the population to give them more voting clout over non slave states so the slave states could expand and preserve slavery.
This was opposed by non slave states in an attempt to prevent the slave states from winning votes to spread slavery to the new states and territories
LOL!!!!
Not to mention the fact that he's giving the left pretty much what it wants - the destruction of the American Republic and its free market economy. Note how often you see complaints from the true believers that he's not doing it fast enough.
When we get to the bottom we'll go back to the top of the slide...
The demonrat party might try to get baraq to not run, but baraq is not about to give up the rock star lifestyle. baraq sees himself as the owner of the White House and this country like an African dictator. When he loses in Nov 2012, he will have to be forcably removed from the White House. When he loses, his party and his media will incite riots. This will get very ugly and baraq will be behind it all. Scorched earth. If he sees that he is going to lose, he will cause as much damage as possible to insure the next president will have his/her hands full just trying to assess the damage.
This distortion of history came from the Blaze?
Isn't that a part of the new Glenn Beck thing?
It must be embarrassing, repeating a canard by a group that certainly should know better.
Yep...slave masters pushed for each slave being fully represented, but without the ability to vote. If a slave master had 100 slaves, then, his one vote was like 100. The 3/5 law actually kept the South from stacking the deck.
Gun control had its roots in racism, too. A slave with a gun is not a slave for long.
