Doggonit, Sarah Palin May Very Well be Jumping In
National Review ^ | 8-19-11 | Kathryn Jean Lopez

Posted on 08/19/2011 8:17:34 PM PDT by STARWISE

Is there any other conclusion after watching the Iowa video?

It is warm and inviting and part of the reintroduction that began with the Steve Bannon movie.

I have long thought that Governor Palin has been honestly trying to figure out the best use of the energy and attention — and anger! — that swirls around the name Sarah Palin.

And with this video, I think she just shared which way she is leaning.

You could be right. Electing Palin may not solve anything. At least let her do it on her terms.

I’ve been watching her interviews on Greta. She’s definitely one of several that I am considering. She’s the real deal, I have to admit.

She said the other day that when she announces her decision, NO ONE will be able to miss it. I don't see a radio show accomplishing that.

OK, putting on my thinking cap here... they've moved the Restoring America rally to the Indianola Balloon Grounds... what better way for no one to miss her announcement, if she makes an announcement at that rally, than for her to arrive via a hot air balloon? A bunch of balloons? Launch her campaign in a balloon? Hey, it's a neat thought.

OK, it's early; maybe I need more coffee...

You can recognize the ‘she's definitely not running’ PDS crowd by the way they walk. With their panties bunched up in a tight little wad, they grimace with each step. When Sarah makes it official, they'll all have headaches that will make the MB migraines look tame.

This thread has gone viral. I agree that Sarah is a master tactician. It is easy to get caught up in the thrill of supporting her. I am reminded of another candidate for whom millions felt the same rush of enthusiasm.
We must temper our excitement with a determination to demand that President Sarah follow the path that leads to smaller government and a return to following the letter of the Constitution.
We cannot sit around like Obama’s supporters and wait for mannah from heaven to rain down and fill our lives with the blessings of liberty. We must take this opportunity to make it happen by hard work and diligence.

...

Something triggered the release of that video. Could have been Perry jumping in - who knows?

...

There has long been the Palin/Perry theory here about them working in concert. What better method to take down the boy emperor than to tag-team him the entire way through the primaries and to the Convention? Perry as wingman?

It will be good for all if she and others run. It will take the heat off of each other. They will be a united bunch. No Perry kicked the football down the field. THe media will be so busy covering all of them, Obama will be only a footnote.

I truly hope that if she is nominated.... those who post “she can’t beat Obama” will be zotted... truly.

Well, I'm only halfway thru this thread, but am so far surprised that it's been relatively PDS-free !

(prolly shouldn't have said that .. a few posts from now it'll turn into a trollfest .. lol)

But Perry was also the cheerleader type (yell leader) so that description fits them both.

My fear is that the conservative vote is going to be split between Palin, Perry, Bachmann and Cain which then puts Romney in the lead for many states. I wish the four of them could somehow huddle and move forward with just one.

Perry is tougher because he HAS a few good things behind him. Very good things. But open border/guardisil and AL GORE will end him.

All good reasons, but ran into some info yesterday about Perry's contributors being set up with nice positions in his administration and that his kids ended up employed with one his supporters. The quid pro quo and "crony capitalism" aspects of this will take him out, imho. Perry is a politician looking for self gain and gratification. Palin is a citizen who happens to be in politics. The distinction is crystal clear.
