Is there any other conclusion after watching the Iowa video?
It is warm and inviting and part of the reintroduction that began with the Steve Bannon movie.
I have long thought that Governor Palin has been honestly trying to figure out the best use of the energy and attention — and anger! — that swirls around the name Sarah Palin.
And with this video, I think she just shared which way she is leaning.
Palin has the keenest political instincts since RWR, so we have to go with her.
Timing is everything and she hasn’t missed a beat since she’s been calling her own shots.

I think he decided that he was a Palin supporter, left the Cain campaign and offered to help set up an event for her. That’s all I meant.
The sudden spats of her appearing on several FOX shows leads me to think that her contract called for so many appearances and she had to finish them out. Could the first concrete evidence of her run be FOX announcing that her contract has been terminated? Or could she maybe have one more appearance on Greta where she will announce? Or might she announce at the AK State Fair. LOL. Lots of possibilities, and it’s fun to try to outguess a genius.

But regardless whether Sarah announces on that day or afterward...... There’s no doubt that people will leave there knowing that she is in the race

There has always been a streak of victimhood in Palin’s act. Burned by the media, she decided to make the “lamestream media” her target.
It hardly matters whether it is an emotional fixation or a carefully designed strategy to egg on the often-aggrieved hard-core conservatives.
Either way, in making that her central concern she has marginalized herself.

No doubt that that makes sense. Flyover country and all. What moved me about the video was that someone said on it, "she's one of us". I said that exact same thing upon watching her convention speech. She IS one of us, NOT one of them. That much is clear and if she wants to announce in flat out middle America, well then God bless her, she can start her own traditions wherein candidates in future years use THAT venue to announce their bid. She is definitely "one of a kind". American and proud of it. Truly refreshing!
It's kinda goofy I know, but it seems like her ardent enemies are starting to see in her what we all have seen from day one, that she is truly genuine. Maybe, just maybe, she has garnered some respect from them, though I don't hold my breath...
God is good. Happy days are almost here again (at least for awhile).
Sarah's too shrewd to endanger her sure path to the White House by purposely letting the air out of our sails. She needs us, and we need her. She's our captain, and she will not let us down.
Of all people, she knows how much is riding on what she says on September 3rd. She knows that she can't just breeze through her speech without tackling the question head on. The pat answer, "I'm still considering it" will not fly in Indianola, and she knows it.
If she's looking at the field, and has determined that she's going to need a few more weeks for things to settle exactly into place, she's going to have to give us one hell of an explanation. What that could possibly be, I have no earthly idea. Factually, it probably doesn't matter what she would say, the damage would be done.
I'm sure that Sarah is looking at this, and has already realized that events have moved into such a position that she must announce on the 3rd, then shift into a whole new battle strategy. I would put my money on the idea that she's already plotting out what the opposition is going to do, and is planning her moves threes steps ahead of them now.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at Palin HQ right now. You're right. Something triggered the release of that video. Could have been Perry jumping in - who knows?
One thing I know, is that cyberspace is literally crackling with high voltage electricity about Palin's anticipated announcement. This is going to build and build over the coming two weeks. By the time she hits the stage, the whole world will be watching. How can she NOT announce?
