But really, are we okay with this? An actual newspaper (the Austin Chronicle) is running this full-page ad next week?
This seems like an awful lot of money to spend on an ad likely to result in a large number of people saying, “No!” emphatically and continuing with their days, but then again, perhaps this lack of acumen is why I am not the president of CASH. And I’m not sure why he chose the “Star Wars” font. Nothing says effective ad-making like “an ad (hominem) hoping to find someone who has had sex with Rick Perry, written in a “Star Wars” font, that implies offensive things about Hillary Clinton’s footwear.”
It’s not even a personal attack. It’s an ad hoping it can make a personal attack later. Is this really where we are?
“Gee,” this ad says. “Wouldn’t it be great if there were a scandal in Rick Perry’s personal life? Get on that, facts.”
“Rick Perry Is A Family Values Hypocrite*” the ad says. *We still have no facts to support this claim.
Are we okay with this? We shouldn’t be.

Has Paul condemned this? If not, then he will look sleazier than how they are trying to portray Perry.
That is what they are searching for in this ad.
I'm sure they would especially like some gay to come forward with a lurid story which they could use to discredit Perry.

He had no names to offer, no specifics or sources (an ex of an ex, etc.). He said rumors exist about "Rick Perry and his entourage" using escorts, group sex, hookers, gays, being "too coked up" to perform, etc.

But, this "ad" is too clever by half. It will backfire on CASH. And on Paul.

This was expected. Well, at least it was by me. I posted some days back that I had heard from someone in Austin that somebody was asking a lot of questions about Perry. Questions to the queer community in Austin. I got slammed for that by several people here because I passed on what I heard. To the point of calling me a queer which is kind of funny considering what I have posted about the “gay” community here over the years.
What is happening here was to be expected. Rumors about Perry have been running around Austin for years. That he goes to strip clubs. And on the other side of the coin that he has a lot of “young and attractive male aides”. Some who go in to gay bars in Austin to score young men for him.
Personally, I doubt any of this. Considering today’s technology there is no way Perry could have been up to this type of stuff without some photos being around. As far as the gay thing it is probably wishful thinking by the some of the gay community in Austin...
As a joke Perry wife should wear a disguise and call a new conference with the CASH idoit LOL!

We need an add that runs “Have you ever treated Ron Paul for psychological disorders?”
Perhaps another one that runs “Do you know ANYTHING about WHERE Barrack Hussein Obama was between his schooling in Indonesia and his election to the Illinois Senate?” Or, “Do you know of ANY connections between Barrack Hussein Obama and Islamic radicals/”
I think a lot of Ron Paul supporters are nuttier than he is, and that says a lot.

Someone should go to this paper and ask to take out a full page ad asking the same questions about Obama (of course you might have to direct it more to gay men than to hot women, for obvious reasons). If the paper refuses to publish the ad, then sue them, obviously you can’t allow this for one person and not another.
They will be hit with a libel and slander suit so quick that it will make their head spin. The Perry campaign did not just have a bake sale in June and dive in. Favors were called.
