“He paid by credit card, telling the cashiers that he uses it only about three times a year.”
It’s good to be king and living off the taxpaying saps.

$32 for a stack of books? I didn’t think they had Borders on the Vineyard.

Im sure I pick up the tab for him for every purchase...
BTW In sure Brave New World is in the free local public library..
Why am I buying a copy ???

Going to the bookstore proves he is smart!
Unlike Bush, who is dumb.

This!!! My first thought too. Soma was the precursor to all those who drank "Hope and Change".

Well, Bayou Trilogy is $15.61 at Barnes and Noble, and $11.55 at Amazon, so, that was half the bill right there.
This guy thought $32.00 was too much for that plus four or five more books at an Independent Bookseller’s Shop?
To: Fitzy_888
Obama was seen holding five or six books, including "Brave New World" and "The Bayou Trilogy."
This idiot probably thinks that buying these books will make him seem intellectual, even though most of us read "Brave New World" when we were in junior high or high school.

Obama should have shown his daughter’s the book that Bill Ayers wrote for him

The ignoramus probably thought “Brave New World” was about him.

Obama was seen holding five or six books Hey Barry, instead of those 5 or 6 books, how about picking up the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and The Federalist Collection? There's your "Brave New World".
To: Fitzy_888
As much as I love them I have not bought a book from a bookstore in ages. Too pricey, library or Amazon for me.

He paid by credit card, telling the cashiers that he uses it only about three times a year. I think he uses it more often than that. Didn't he just raise the limits to $14.3 Trillion?

Did he have a copy of Atlas Shrugged, trying to figure out the next move and how to change the ending?

Obama was seen holding five or six books Maybe he reads them the same way clinton used to read that huge bible he was seen carrying around from time to time.

Nice little Photop of Mr Smart buying books to read. Shouldn’t his credit card be maxed out like America’s, oh yeah liberal and his money.
Pray for America

I love Daniel Woodrell (The Bayou Trilogy), I hope Obama doesn’t hurt his sales.
