At 16:38 into the interview Greta VanSusteren asks Sarah Palin about entering the race -- any closer, why going to Iowa??
Sarah Palin talks about her next appearance at an inaugural tea party event in Iowa Sept 3rd and how she plans to continue doing a lot of traveling.
Greta asks again, with some exasperation, saying this is "an awful tease" and you're driving the media mad, so would she please give a little hint (paraphrasing).
Sarah Palin said she's still contemplating whether to jump in or not and then told Greta, you don't need a title to make a difference or hold office to make a difference - I am proof of that as are millions of other Americans -- wants to explain to other Americans how we can all be apart of the solution - empower individuals, not wait for government to do it for us.

Because I, a long time Sarah Palin supporter (who still believes she can be a positive force), because I post a thread asking what everyone else is asking, I AM PUSHING buttons?
I submit, for years Sarah Palin has been sitting as master of ceremonies on the lead float in this celebrated election parade, while we've stood patiently on the sidewalk watching her go by (and buying her books, watching her cable special, attending her motion picture, and defending her and her children from barbed attacks), and it is time for someone to remark, "Is the Emperor wearing any clothes?"
That's not allowed? I've earned the right to ask that question.
I think more people need to stop cowtowing to this kind of behavior and start asking her to make up her mind or stop wasting their time.

I really appreciate that Greta fully asks questions and gives time for full answers and then follows up, if needed. I actually learn something when watching her interviews.
Thanks so much, CW, for continuing to put the pressure on that woman to show her hand. Harold Simmons, Bob Perry and all my other cronies friends thank you as well.

If Sarah Palin wasn’t so pretty, would her supporters post so many photos — be as devoted?
I state that I don’t think Sarah Palin is running and imply (by using her quote from the interview) that she would (or is) supporting Rick Perry and somehow I’m forcing her to show her hand?
I thought the idea was to go out there and campaign and win over the electorate. And btw, if she does, she will need some of those “cronies” to help her beat Obama.
If Palin doesn’t run, that will be $1,000.00 Wife and I will save.
I can’t speak for Sarah’s supporters.

She hasn’t wasted any of my time! It’s mid-August. I think I’ve already said this, but it’s hardly Governor Palin’s fault or concern that others jumped at the news media call for an early “horse race” just because they were holding debates! IIRC, Fox and NBC even had to cancel two for lack of candidates in May! LOL.
Good grief, it’s not yet Labor Day! I’m still trying to enjoy summer, like a lot of other Americans!
Perry is running hard right for now, but predict if nominated, he will then change course and tack to the center, if not center left.
