Sarah talks about GOP race to the White House
At 16:38 into the interview Greta VanSusteren asks Sarah Palin about entering the race -- any closer, why going to Iowa??
Sarah Palin talks about her next appearance at an inaugural tea party event in Iowa Sept 3rd and how she plans to continue doing a lot of traveling.
Greta asks again, with some exasperation, saying this is "an awful tease" and you're driving the media mad, so would she please give a little hint (paraphrasing).
Sarah Palin said she's still contemplating whether to jump in or not and then told Greta, you don't need a title to make a difference or hold office to make a difference - I am proof of that as are millions of other Americans -- wants to explain to other Americans how we can all be apart of the solution - empower individuals, not wait for government to do it for us.

When she speaks...just like Reagan did. And like Reagan, she'll do it at the right time.
That must have been it. When a picture is taken from that angle and I’m used to seeing someone face-forward, it looks weird only because I don’t have any real point of reference.

That reads to me like she’s not running; but then what the hell do I know ;)
I recently thought that she’d waited too long... and then with Perry in, she sort of blew it.
I’m not so sure now.
The way Perry is being trashed from all sides, maybe her strategy is right. Wait until the very end. Let the others get the Palin treatment.
Who knows.
The only way I see her getting in now would be if Perry crashed and burned which I think is entirely possible. Let me finish by saying that, right now, she is my first choice and Perry would be my second. That is subject to change on a daily basis.
She is not running. Book it.
Too bad Palin said yesterday there isn’t anyone out there yet that she really likes, and that includes Jimmy Rick.
I get a kick out of those who poo-poo his tax record, because it’s on just cigarettes, etc. We know what those sin taxes do. What’s next, taxiing fast food? Oh wait...
Perry talks the talk. He does not walk the walk.
I call him JR for short. Seems so Texan.
I keep seeing Sarah Palin as a Secretary of Interior or Secretary of State.
I also see Perry the same way!
I guess there is always the Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin ticket...both being governors of the largest states.
I never liked my dad.
She has said as much. Certainly she has decided to run and certainly she decided that a long time ago. There is a caveat, however. If another candidate enters the race who she believes stands for the same universe of principles and constitutional government that she so fervently believes in she will decide not to run. She has decided to run. She has not yet decided not to run.
All part of the plan!
I believe the possible "cork popping" died once the e-mail dump made Sarah look good. I thought that was her opportunity to ride the tide of good press, along with the media looking like asses. But she didn't.
Perry was signaling his interest around this time, as the TX legislative session was heating up as it was also winding down -- he was getting input, surveying the fundraising outlook, interest/endorsements, etc and then he entered the race. Done deal.
Perry is walking and talking -- has been, for a long time.
The country is at the brink and we are rapidly running out of time. We may not have another opportunity to change course.
Repeatedly we see Republicans fold when push comes to shove kicking the can down the road - we are out of road.
Palin is the only one I've seen since Reagan with the courage to lead and not fold, to carry on and tell it like it is. All with a fundamental love of country.
I don't have faith that Perry can follow through once there. He's bent too many times.
If the next President fails to reign in the state, there may well not be another chance.
So pray for a miracle. They do happen from time to time.
Assume Palin announces that she's runnign today. What would the next poll, of likely GOP voters, say, next week.,..show..
My take..Palin 35%, Perry 25%, Mitt 15%, Paul 10%
Bachman might have 5%, and the rest one or two % each..
Instantly, by running, she removes AZNY reason for a Bachmann candidacy..and could almost push MItt out of the race..
Perry is just another Bushie/McCain RINO.
It would be just “rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic”.
America needs a true change in leadership to return to the Constitution and begin cleaning-up govt.
America needs Sarah!
