Senate Democrats are increasingly concerned that President Barack Obamas campaign money machine is sucking up so much cash that it will cut into the partys aggressive campaign to hold on to the Senate next year, several Democratic sources say.
Democratic senators have already pressed Obama campaign officials including campaign manager Jim Messina not to lock up the richest Democratic donors, but the presidential campaign declined to make such a promise.

First he takes at least a little bite out of the planned Mediscare demagogue of the GOP (who wants to kill your Grandmother) campaign planned by Harry Reid and now he’s sucking up all the money. Woe is me. What’s a Grungy Harry to do?

Ah, the sweet sound of the Democrat Party unraveling. Looks like Obummer is taking no prisoners and this insures that the others will be at his beck and call, groveling for funds. I'll bet he makes no contributions to their campaigns until late in the cycle and not before he's raised as much as he can. That way, instead of letting each party member raise his/her own funding, Obummer insures that they have to come to Him, The Anointed One, to get their candy...I mean funding. Yes, the Chicago Machine at its finest.

We have a huge number of incumbents who are up this cycle and a lot of them have taken tough votes to enact significant portions of this presidents agenda, and I think that there is a sense that there should be an all-hands-on-deck approach to keep the Senate in Democratic hands, said one Democratic official familiar with the meeting. Obama to House and Senate Rats: See ya suckers!

My prediction is that Baraq will have a billion $$ campaign fund, and all it will do is p!ss off most people hearing the same bullshirt over and over and over again.

Why was Politico told to write this?
Most likely to gin up donations to their unlimited PACs.
Even in the story there is minimal support offered for the headline.
Montana and Missouri Sen races are going to be written off anyway.
