This will be interesting given the timing. Anyone have more info on this?

By October 7th, Palin should be in full campaign mode!

Did anyone think to add where in Texas this was to be held. Metrotix implies DFW but for those of us outside the Free Republic of Texas a little detail wouldn’t hurt.

Do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the fusion of two intellectual conservatives as they Defend the Republic on the Family Arena stage. For Governor Palin, defending the republic in such events seems to be a much more lucrative activity than running for president.

Hmmm. makes me think maybe she is NOT going to enter, though I’ve been up to now thinking she would.
Glenn seems to drift a little further “out there” with every passing month and is fading from the scene. Not good to pair up with the “fading from view.”
Whatever happened to that “Temple Mount” rally thing?

Sarah said on FOX the other day she will announce in September if she will run for president or not..Can't wait.. I think her and Rick Perry have something cooked up..If he wins the primaries then she will be his running mate and if she wins he will be her running mate..

FWIW, I don’t think Sarah will run in 2012.

witness the fusion of two intellectual conservatives Please. Mark Steyn and Victor Davis Hanson they aren't. I like them both, but I'm primarily interested in the opinions of people that have votes or could have prospects of votes on actual legislation these days. Beck has none, and Palin's prospects are dimming. You know what opinions are like, and everyone has one.

A couple of possibilities here:
1. Sarah’s not running and knows it so is lining up appearances for a topic dear to her heart: Defending the republic.
2. If she is running, wouldn’t it be considered a campaign appearance?? If so it would take away from the purpose of the event.
3. She made the commitment not knowing whether she would run. If she runs, she may cancel.
Bottom line — I’m leaning more and more towards her not running (she knows it’s unlikely she can win) and she’s lining up events so she can be a cheerleader for her position.

This is just a reminder to everyone. We all don’t know where these venues are located. If you post some special story like this, LET US KNOW IN THE OPENING PARAGRAPH THE LOCATION OF CITY AND STATE OF THE EVENT OR STORY. Thanks.

October 7 is the day before the OU/Texas game. It would be perfect if Sarah and Beck were in Dallas instead of St. Louis. Just can’t pass up the opportunity to see the horns get crushed.

Unless a big part of her election strategy is that people like Glenn, Rush, Levin, etc. are going to come out and openly support her for president. Look at all the FREE air time.
I have previously made this prediction, so let’s see if I’m crazy or more prophetic than Beck.
