“Bachmann and Palin are both ethically corrupt. “

You are quickly running out of honest people to support. Guess Jim D and Mike P “would be repulsed at how some so-called conservatives, let alone liberals, belittle, smear, and outright lie about Sarah Palin - a lady whom both men have stated their admiration for”

DeMint and Pence are two outstanding conservatives, and both would be repulsed at how some so-called conservatives, let alone liberals, belittle, smear, and outright lie about Sarah Palin - a lady whom both men have stated their admiration for.

I see Palin only choosing an unconventional VP and administration.

but you’ll hold Palin to comments she made while under the muzzle of the McCain campaign.

I haven't and I won't. Now who is being "disingenuous"? You're typical of many Palin fans here.

No, you just don’t live in Reality Heights.

Palin was middle class as governor. She was NOT rich. She didn’t earn significant money until she published her books and started speaking.

Interestingly, we know every dime she’s made, and mostly how she spent it because nosy busy-bodies like you seem to think its acceptable to go digging through somebody else’s personal finances.

You may think earning money is bad, but I distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate income, between legal and illegal, and between ethical and unethical. Everything Sarah did was legitimate, legal, and ethical.

Now, contrast that with somebody like Congressman Jack Brooks (Texas, forcibly retired in 1994). He boasted about first going to Congress with only $500 to his name. He never had another job, never practiced law, and was generally a disreputable scoundrel.

When he was defeated, he was worth almost $10M. How did he do it? Well, he was on the boards of about 20 corporations, mostly banks, where he was paid ~$100K a year for 2-3 hours work.

Now, here is the tough part for you, ready? Was it legitimate? Was it legal? Was it ethical?

Answer below...
...
...
...
(don’t let other socialists copy your answer)...
...
Was it legitimate? Yes, yes it was. It was done above board, it wasn’t hidden or scandalous.

Was it legal? Yes, again it was legal. There is no law against congress critters serving on corporate boards.

Was it ethical? HELL NO!!! You think he wasn’t pushing hard for laws that benefitted those companies? It was wrong should darn well be illegal.

I take it back. You were right...you don’t understand ethics.

Looks like Sarah will not be a candidate by 10-7. Drats! I don’t think she would schedule an event like this if she knew she would be a candidate at the time.

See post #72.

Obviously my initial post lacked clarity.

Honesty? Look in the mirror my FRiend.

If you really believed that, you wouldn’t keep using it in a negative context.

Why put the TM symbol next to Palin’s name? Obviously you think she is commercialized, which is a none to subtle dig at her.

If you don’t think there’s a harm, why do you care?

I don’t spend enough time on FR to see all your posts. The ones I have seen are very negative and staunchly anti-Palin. What’s with the animus?

If she doesn’t run, she’s still made a positive impact in leading the opposition to Obama and supporting good candidates. If she made money along the way, good for her...after the HELL the media put her through, that’s the least she deserves.

In fact, after what her and her family was put through, I think she deserves hundreds of millions of dollars for not backing down, and facing the opponents head-on. She deserves combat pay and compensation for the attempted destruction of her character.

If you bothered to read my post, you’d know it does matter to me. I specifically said she earned it legitimately, legally, and ethically.

You are now accusing Palin specifically of earning it illegally and unethically.

Prove it, SPECIFICALLY!

Speak for yourself. This Texan will only vote for Sarah. Perry is all for letting in illegals. Also standing for nothing.

Wow, I found a real live socialist troll!!!

HEY, EVERYBODY, look at the troll I found. He think’s the sub-prime mortgage crisis was created by ‘money grubbing’ capitalists, instead of crony capitalists in the pockets of crooks like Chris Dodd and Barney Frank!

I can’t believe you actually posted that...exposed!

Shoo troll, shoo, ...or I’ll let the cat out to get you and the other vermin.

Sounds great.

Odd typo, though: ...first femail governor of Alaska....
How would that pass a spellchecking system?

These kinds of events (and appearing with Beck) are things that non-candidates do, not those seriously engaged in a POTUS campaign.

Palin did say she would run an unconventional grassroots campaign. I'm not sure anyone can predict what her campaign will look like.

She and Beck should start a new network to compete with Fox.

That is where the money is.

I recommend everyone go back to Nov 2010 and prior in jla’s posts. All his current PDS was then pure love and adoration for Palin and there are a bunch of things at odds with his more modern blatherings.

Can you believe he was once one of Pissant’s staunchest critics?Mow he has stepped into his shoes!

Sure looks like someone took a bribe to me. He questions SP/MB’s ethics and I question his ethics. Don’t take my word for it. See for yourselves. Oh and WTC had over 70 instances of using “Trademark” as some kind of slur against Palin in the last month alone. I think it’s a prayer with him. Check his posts for LOLs as well. Neither of them are anything but rabid PDS trolls.

Ozone on the horizon?

“Whatever happened to that “Temple Mount” rally thing?”

August 24 (my b’day). They were advised, for security reasons - tens of thousands of Muslims would be looking down, possibility of terrorist attack - to change venues, maybe to the Mount of Olives. Herman Cain, Joe Liebermann, several others to go over there w/Glenn.

Shameful, as well as sad, how the glitter of gold can change a person.

Shameful when a governor collects a pay check for being governor while at the same time they are gallivanting around the country running for president.

Is "Gov." Perry still collecting his paycheck from the taxpayers of Texas now that he's running?
