A south American country whose name escapes me, had a novel idea with the water cannons. They sprayed rioters with the water...and a “harmless” blue dye. It would give the skin a blue “smurf like” tinge and would wear off after a few days. Of course it would be enough suspicion to ID and question someone.

And the ones that were not in class for a few days...they got IDed also.

They should have used the idea as a promo for the new “Smurf” movie!

During the Watts riots of 1965 many stores were looted and burned. The stores owned by Koreans were not looted nor were they burned. The reason is quite simple. Those that rioted and looted noticed that when you tried to loot a store owned by Koreans, you body leaked blood and on occasion you head exploded from a well aimed rifle or shotgun.

When the bad guys come to your house or store, you better go medieval on them, or they will go medieval on you.
