Genuflecting to the Tea Party
The New York Times ^ | 8/12/2011 | Charles Blow

I must confess that every time Representative Michele Bachmann uttered the phrase “as president of the United States” during Thursday’s Republican presidential debate I blacked out a little bit, so I’m sure that I missed some things.

These obamarrhoids deeply long for a new RINO to chew up and spit out. RINOs are no threat to their sources of power and perversion.

Blowhard says he “blacked out” at the mention by Bachmann of “when I am President...”. I can understand why!

This entire anti-constitutional binge the left has been on for 50 years is threatened if Bachmann or Palin become President. How? Simplest way imaginable: a complete re-orientation of the Supreme Court. That is Superman’s kryptonite, Achilles’ heel, Samson’s haircut, and water on the Wicked Witch of the West. No wonder Blowhard “blacks” out at the thought.

The obamarrhoids’ bread is buttered by the courts’ obscene slicing, dicing, spicing, blending, stirring, cooking, and watering-down of the Consitution. It is what permits them to govern in ways the Constitution never intended nor imagined.

The Supreme Court is the liberals’ Holy Grail, and that makes it ours, too. That scares the devil out of them.

AS opposed to Barry O, I embrace the idea of Michelle Bachmann being President. In fact everytime I think of that pathetic, unqualified, teleprompter reading, light weight Marxist sitting in the Oval Office, I “black out a little.”

Obama has set citizen against citizen - but worse - he’s using the power of the state to go after people with different political views. Holder seems to feel Tea Party members are not JUST citizens who disagree with him - but people he can go after. Something is very wrong in this country - and it’s Obama’s fault.

just sent the following email to blow:

hey chuck- elections have consequences- just ask the petulant child in the WH....

when obama forces through obamacare using left wing extremists like reid and pelosi to help buy sitting senators/congressmen, despite the fact the vast majority of Americans are against the plan, that’s called good policy because “Good governance in a democratic society is about the art of the deal, not fiats and dictum. You want leaders who stand up for principles but not in the way of progress. ..
yet when elected reps go to DC and act on behalf of there constituents who demand major cost cutting and no new taxes- well then they are Know-nothings....

let me ask you- is it hard for you to live a lie??

when will any of you disingenuous left wing columnists as why, if the Bush tax cuts are so horrible, didn’t the petulant child in the WH roll them back when he had the votes in the house/senate?? when will you ask why weren’t the loopholes for oil companies closed when oil was $35/barrell and gas $1.80/gallon when the petulant child moved into the WH and had the votes to overturn anything??

Why aren’t you demanding the WH explain their hypocritical stance of closing loopholes for oil companies while GE/MSNBC makes $14-billion in profit in 2010 yet paid $0.00 in tax?? and the CEO of GE/MSNBC- Jeff Immelt, who is always sending jobs overseas- most recently announcing GE was sending their xray production to China, now sits as an economic adviser to obama???

if it wasn’t so pathetically sad it would be funny...

Don't you just know that this constitutionally-illiterate writer named Blow would be absolutely "blown away" and "black out" completely to hear Thomas Jefferson, the author of our Declaration of Independence, make the following declarations about spending, deficit and debt:

"To preserve [the] independence [of the people,] we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers." --Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. ME 15:39

"I deem [this one of] the essential principles of our government and consequently [one] which ought to shape its administration:... The honest payment of our debts and sacred preservation of the public faith." --Thomas Jefferson: 1st Inaugural, 1801. ME 3:322

"I sincerely believe... that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale." --Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816. ME 15:23

"[With the decline of society] begins, indeed, the bellum omnium in omnia [war of all against all], which some philosophers observing to be so general in this world, have mistaken it for the natural, instead of the abusive state of man. And the fore horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." --Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. ME 15:40

Sounds like Jefferson was describing the sad state of affairs which so-called "progressives," led by the current President, have produced today.

Any citizen, including Bachman and others, both Democrat and Republican, can understand what Jefferson understood, because such understanding is based on the history of civilization's struggle for individual liberty against charlatans who legalize theft in order to gain power.

It’s way more than simply polarized - a significant segment of society has gone insane. Their feet no longer touch the earth.

They look at where we’re at (bankrupt) and how we got here (liberal spending) and blame TEA Partiers. They attempt to defy the laws of reason, logic, and gravity and insist that “The only thing we have to fear, is Spending itself”.

They don’t just resist the need to exercise restraint - they reject it outright. They insist that as we race for the cliff, we redouble our efforts to increase our speed. Like re-creators of “Back to the Future” they want to drive straight for the wall, hoping that their imaginary vehicle will magically transport them to some other time and place - just in the nick of time.

It would be comical if they didn’t insist that we ride in the back seat...

One other quotation from a former president for Mr. Charles Blow, who seems to have chosen his "side" in the choice of a definition of the word "liberty."

"The world has never had a good definition of the word liberty, and the American people, just now, are much in want of one. We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men's labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatable things, called by the same name---liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatable names---liberty and tyranny." - (Abraham Lincoln, 1864, Address at Sanitary Fair, Baltimore MD)

What I see when I read the comments posted on the NY Times article is the final death blows of “Liberalism,” a failed system that leads to poverty, misery, and slavery. The Alinsky method of humiliating your opponents is no longer working, for the Liberals have cried “Wolf” once too many times. The Tea Party is the silent majority being silent no more. What these comments show is that the Marxist Left does not know how to deal with a real revolution.

Can any Liberal really argue that Welfare and Governments hand outs are nothing more than a way to enslave a people? A slave has no determination over his life, nor to they live and die by their decisions. Slaves exist on the handout of their owners and have there sprit destroyed, so that they obey the wishes of there overlords. People on welfare have no control over there life, for they live lives dictated by a Government that sees them as nothing but statistics on a sheet that have only one function – to vote as directed.

The voice of Liberalism is subservience to tyranny, to live as a mindless automaton that is not reasonable for what happens in their life. The voice of the Conservative, the Tea Party, is to live as freeman under Liberty and to be responsible for you own action; they want to people to rule there own lives by making their own decisions. Under Liberty you can only succeed if there is a possibility to fail. Under Tyranny, Liberalism, there is nothing but existence and envy, ruled by a class of people that want us divided and fighting among ourselves as they live like Kings.

Conservatives dream of a better future, they reach for the stars and try to encourage others to achieve their dreams. Liberals, have no dreams but only a lust for power. That is the choice that will be made in the next election, to live as freemen with dreams, or as the slaves of our leaders.

If the Slimes writer blacked out a little when Bachmann said “As President I would...”,

he will spontaneously combust when he has to hear the words “President-Elect Sarah Palin”.

He won’t even make it to inauguration day for “President Sarah Palin”.

: )

Buy lots of duct tape, libtards! You’ll need it for exploding heads prevention.
