Corey Feldman has no idea what it's like not to be famous. After all, he starred in a McDonald's ad when he was just 3 years old.
"I literally was famous before I knew my own name," he said in an interview with ABC News' "Nightline."
The ad led to roles in films such as "Stand By Me," "Goonies" and "License to Drive." He was a household name before he could read.
But being famous and underage, he said, caused serious damage to him and his friends, including loss of innocence and a lost childhood.

"I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That's the biggest problem for children in this industry. ... It's the big secret," Feldman said.
"I was surrounded by [pedophiles] when I was 14 years old. Didn't even know it. It wasn't until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted till I went, Oh, my God. They were everywhere," Feldman, 40, said.
The trauma of pedophilia contributed to the 2010 death of his closest friend and "The Lost Boys" co-star, Corey Haim, Feldman said.
"There's one person to blame in the death of Corey Haim. And that person happens to be a Hollywood mogul.

IIRC, 100 Hollywood people signed a petition supporting pedophile Roman Polanski.
I love goonies!!!!
Great movie...
He has said that while he had issues with MJ, pedophila wasnt one of them.

Pretty sure that that Hollywood Mogul is a HUGE Obama supporter!!! Liberalism is a MENTAL DISEASE!
That was the best super fun movie to watch ever.
I have no doubt about that.
I too was impressed by Michael Jackson’s talent and I’m not trying to make this thread about Michael Jackson. I’m saying that Feldman has no credibilty talking about hollywood and pedophilia when he idolized and emulated a weirdo and pedofile like Jackson. Granted he was a kid at the time and may have come under his influence but when he wears the hat and the similar hair lock at Jackson’s funeral in honor of Jackson, I don’t think we should take his views too seriously.
I like Jackson’s music but I wouldn’t hang around him.
Indeed. Childhood memories, in a court of law, against rich and powerful Hollywood types.. Corey would be sued into oblivion. I wouldn't go up against the Powers that Be in Uber Hollywood (PBUH)..
Here's Obama meeting the mogul's "date" at a WH state dinner.
ok
ewwwwwwwwwww
A few survived, like the Cameron kids Kirk and Candice, stronger in their Christianity.
My daughter (aged 27) has been working full time & going for her JD for the last 4 years and just now started watching a little tv.
She remarked just last night how awful tv is for kids and what a horrible message a lot of teen shows send: the parents are stupid and to be mocked, made fun of, or ignored. And the kids run rampant with no moral values.
She grew up with "Saved By The Bell" and 90210 which, by today's standards, were pretty tame!
Yeah, because the mistakes we make at 14 must haunt us the rest of our lives. Right?
I’m glad that someone is finally admitting to being a victim. The Hollywood abuse machine has gone ignored for far too long. Can anybody with any sensitivity deny that Roddy McDowell and Liz Taylor were abused? Jodie Foster is another painfully obvious case. The X-rated “film makers” in West Hollywood are almost better, in that they only use over-18 people in production of their “art.”
I’m not saying that children should not or cannot innocently participate in public entertainment, just that I would never allow my kids to do anything more than a Christmas play. I grew up too close the entertainment industry to do otherwise.
No, you learn from them and don’t repeat them. And don’t help to build up people who take advantage of young boys and girls and then warn about it.
I've wondered about her too...
