The latest trend in the media world is “trending.” That is, monitoring what people are buzzing about and directing coverage accordingly.
Just as the unspoken sometimes reveals more than the spoken, what’s not trending suggests more than what’s trending. In all the many thousands of words written in the immediate aftermath of the Republican debate in Iowa, two words were scarce: Sarah Palin.

Elect Sarah Palin for President 2012
Re-Elect President Sarah Palin 2016
If anyone except Romney or Palin win the nomination and beat Obama we'd have an unusual GOP winner not having run for president before, been on a national ticket before or not having a pedigree.
I guess Donna Brazile wasn't available. /s

What a great picture!!!!
Kathleen Parker is one of those “establishment conservatives” who doesn’t like Sarah Palin. Like Peggy Noonan, it probably beacause she also suffers from S.B.S.
I agree - too many Freepers want to discount her because she doesn't fit the mold they are used to (and claim to hate). They don't seem to realize she is even smarter than even her fans think. I eagerly anticipate to see what her end game is....
It’s just political hit piece # 4,562,228. Ms. Parker is trending, right along with most of the lame-stream media.
Very true it makes their stock go up, yes. I sure agree with you about Trump.
Gingrich...yeah, likely so. If he's so great, so smart, so experienced, why isn't he still in Congress where he could be putting all his wonderfulness to good use?
But Palin...I don't think so, and would rather give her the benefit of the doubt.
I'm no KAD and it does disturb me to see people pushing the deadline all the time. It'll be Memorial Day, uhh, July 4, uhh, Labor Day when the mothership arrives.
But Labor Day isn't so far off and historically not unreasonably late.
Wishing doesn’t make it so, Ms. CNN Fail...
Patience. i am a Palin supporter for a long time. I have no inside track but i believe strongly she is running. She shows up here to make her voice heard on issues, just like she is a candidate, she goes to a lot of trouble to do this. I don’t think there is any speaking fees or books she is doing this for (the usual reason to question her motives). She comes to IA to remind her supporters and potential supporters she will be getting in.
I guess the author of this article wasn’t watching the news yesterday, when it was all Sarah Palin! Even on CNN!
Labor Day ...Game On...
Watched a portion of the debate, what I saw was mostly “No Fire”, it was Blaaah. I don’t want Blaaaaah in the White House, I want to see Fire. Palin, Cain, West, that’s fire! Unless some one shows up with real fire, I don’t see anything happening that will change things. IMO.
Kathleen Parker never met a Republican she did not hate...except for Romney. That is because he is a socialist like she is.
