A Dutch tourist who has gone missing during a business trip to North Korea appeared in a state-run newspaper on Wednesday to praise the country's recent elections.

. . .

A spokesperson for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously confirmed that Van der Bijl had been reported missing by his family. "It is very difficult to request the government in North Korea to search the man. The nearest embassy is in Switzerland's Bern," the spokesperson said. "It is a difficult country, but we are working hard on this. But it is a worrying case."

Note to self: Never make a business trip to a place where your own freaking government doesn't even have an embassy.

I wonder if the reason he’s gone there so much is that he has a girlfriend there?

Or he could be a nut.

He’s Dutch!
The Dutch are the same people who have an army with a union.
That tells it all.

The same type person who says, "President Obama is doing a good job."

A liberal.

Yeah I just noticed that they also follow the Onion.

Cable and the internet need a parody network called something like BSNBC.com where everything reported about republicans is bad and Obama is sitting to the right of God. We need a site/TV network that mocks the dems to the point of exposure. It should be 24 hours of news and could be set up like this parody video of al jazeera news.

http://youtu.be/tLnmO-akrnI

The GOP should also have the equivelent of the Democrats' CNN, MSNBC, CBS 24 hour (NON-parody) cable and online News and it should be called GOP TV (We Admit It - They Don't). GOP TV could offer the latest news from the perspective of the right but also be a Media Watchdog (similar to Newsbusters) where they expose the MSM for their bias.

Remember FoxNews is Center and is the most fair and balanced news network in America. Even if you think it's "right wing" news you should NEVER admit it. It is not republican nor conservative. It's in the middle.

So, we do need to compete with the democrats networks: CNN, MSNBC and CBS with our own: GOPTV.

I have met people who travel a lot, who pride themselves on going to places few have. Some especially like to go to places that the state department warns about. Oh don’t believe that, they’re safe, they say.

They don’t like it when I compare playing tourist in north korea to playing tourist at a nazi death camp, while helping to fund it.

They should fill out a consent form to U.S. gov, to the effect that I know the danger involved and should I get into trouble, gov is not responsible for getting me out and free to void my citizenship.
