I suspect the unfortunate events with the downing of the helicopter and the loss of all those SEALs last week effectively put an end to any ideas anyone in the White House had about a propaganda film like this.

I mean, it would be the equivalent of having the Japanase government produce a move about the attack on Pearl Harbor . . . and then roll it out for its first public viewings a week after the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

"If capturing/killing Osama bin Laden in April 2011 was such a big deal, then why has the U.S. lost X military personnel in Afghanistan since then, in a war that has been going on for more than eleven years now?"

Way too kind,Obama views the military (as well as everything else) as a political tool in his Marxist conquest of America.
The armed forces know this and the majority loath him as their CinC (look for massive military disenfranchisement come election day).
They just hope he gives them a blatantly unconstitutional order...because they swore fidelity to the constitution FIRST and FOREMOST!!!
