Pentagon officials had said that because 19 of 30 of the American families of the dead had objected to media coverage of the remains coming off a plane at Dover Air Force Base, no images could be taken. In addition, the Pentagon rejected media requests to take photos that showed officials at the ceremony but did not depict caskets.
President Barack Obama attended the ceremony, called a "dignified transfer," for those killed in the worst single loss of the nearly 10-year war. An official White House photo of a saluting Obama was distributed to news media and published widely. It also was posted on the White House website as the "Photo of the Day."

The photo doesn’t look like Dear Leader is saluting. It looks like he is thumbing his nose.
It makes me feel ill that they abused this solemn event for politics. Ill!

Drudge has the link to Yahoo up on his page...with the photo (and it still looks to me like a ‘thumb of the nose’ not a salute) but Yahoo CANNOT scrub the absolute scathing comments fast enough.
I am suprised they have allowed commentary at all...NO support for Dear Leader...just contempt for the WH going against the families wishes.
Much to my surprise, there is NO ZeroAA ass-kissing going on at Yahoo...the comments look like a Free Republic thread.
