One of my closest friends, "Gail," lives in a pristine suburb in northern New Jersey. It's one of those leafy bedroom communities where residents drive their Lexus SUVs to the railroad station each morning to catch the train to Manhattan.
After 9/11, Gail told me that eerily, several vehicles were left abandoned in the parking lot for weeks. Their drivers never returned home that day to retrieve them.
But, in general, not much goes on in her sleepy, idyllic town. The residents rave about shopping sprees to Loehmanns and sprints to Whole Foods for organic strawberries. There is no crime to speak of; the local paper blares news about a recent traffic accident or the opening of a Trader Joe's. So when Gail told me what happened to her son, I was absolutely dumbfounded.
As for Gail, like my former self, she's a staunch supporter of the Democratic Party.....

You know vet, the feeling I am getting these days? It’s actually very similar to the weird loopiness I was feeling the week after the big earthquake last March. Everything looks the same, but somehow everything feels less substantial. The ground seems to be moving all the time, even when it isn’t.
But this time, it’s all coming from the news. The markets are falling, there are riots everywhere, flash mobs have evolved from being a cute and harmless past-time into something far more brutal and inexplicable...
And even more sadly is the gut deep realization that whatever is happening — this is just the beginning.
I can only hope more people wake the hell up to reality before it’s their child decked by feral human garbage, regardless of that garbage’s skin color.
Unfortunately, some people NEED to learn the hard way. As a parent I feel sorry for “Gail” and what happened to her son. But my rational side can’t help also thinking “Lady, what the 9 Hells did you expect from a Marxist radical you were CLEARLY warned about and voted for anyway? YOU helped encourage this!”
America deserves everything we get for electing this guy.

It’s the democrat party, there is nothing democratic about these people.
The left depends on confused sympathy for it's radical causes. The only trouble with it right now is that the world is not awash with cash to support them.
The Leftist papers and media will, but it will only lead to less readership and less advertisers.
I wonder if more people will be open to learning more about Obamas past (and present) associates this time around.
The Wisconsin State Fair events are a leading indicator of how it's going to happen. Apparently random acts, coordinated wilding, growing frequency.

Pretty sad to think people (in the article) think this way though. I guess that should be a given based on the level of insulation they blanket themselves with.

People, like Gail, do not understand the connection between socialism and infantilization.
When you turn people into perpetual two-year olds, they will act like two-year olds when you have expectations of them.
There is something in this article with a disconsonant ring to me. I heartily blame Obama for the economic malaise that inevitably accompanies a clearly anti-business administration. However, this author implies that he is somehow behind the outbreak of the violence. He has not uttered a word of condemnation, (unlike Mayor Nutter in Philly) but I cannot view this a some sort of assault orchestrated by Obama.
I lived in the People’s Republic of Berkeley for three years in the Seventies—I know exactly what she is talking about.
My stay in Berkeley turned me from a mildly liberal person into a conservative who can spot the liberal/progressive BS immediately. Unfortunately, that BS is rampant in academia and government.

Leftists have no idea whats coming down the pipe, this example is on only a small prelude of things to come. By 2050 (if not sooner) whites are going to a minority in there own country, these type of events are going to increase in magnitude and frequency
This is horrible. Justin didn’t deserve to be treated this way, and his friends didn’t need to see such brutality.

“It’s Obama,” I explained. “It’s what I told you a few years ago. This is what happens when you put someone in power like Obama. Something spreads, like a virus. It’s subtle; it’s almost invisible. But it poisons one person, and then another and another, until soon the whole country is corrupted.
“It’s a sickness called hatred, Gail. Most black people are good, law-abiding, moral people. Obama comes from a far-left fringe group of militants who hate America and want to drag us down. Those same people have degraded and exploited poor black kids for years. These radicals use them as their foot soldiers. Obama would never get his own hands dirty.

Thank you for citing this story. Gripping and well-written. And, unfortunately, not an excellent work of fiction, but a glimpse of hell on the horizon.
