Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., will appoint Democratic Sens. Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana, and John Kerry of Massachusetts to the new super committee tasked with finding $1.2 trillion in additional deficit reduction by November 23, according to a senior Democratic aide familiar with Reid’s decision, which is expected to be made public as early as Wednesday.

It’s going great for them but not so hot for us on the other side after Boehner and all the other fools in the Republican Party voted for this idiotic committee that supersedes Congress’s authority. I simply can’t believe how badly the Republicans got taken in the recent debt ceiling debacle. It’s like we have JR. High Schoolers calling the shots for the Republican side.
Murry plan is to take over the tennis shoe industry and raise prices. Then she can go back to her state and rig an election or two.
Baucus plan is to talk the problem to death and accomplish nothing. Then he can claim victory and pose for pictures.
Kerry plan is to find a widow worth 1.2 Trillion and marry her. Then he can take the rest of the session off without having to vote.
Remember Kerry got a seriously seared brain on Christmas vacation in Cambodia. He also (?)served(?) in Vietnam.

Given that nothing will come of this so called Super Committee we might as well have Snowe, Collins and McCain on it for all that thing will do.

Just as I suspected. The committee will have one conservative, two RINOs and three communists. Wonder what the odds are they will come out with raising taxes?
I’m about the biggest pessimist around, and even I did not expect the choices to be THIS bad.
I knew that this deal was designed to fail, but I didn’t expect them to not even PRETEND to be serious about about making it work.
