This video titled Doorbell, submitted by Don Brookins, wasnt a prize winner in the Power Line Prize competition, but it meets the purpose of the competition very well: in simple fashion, it brings home the significance of the federal debt crisis and the impact of the debt on the next generation. It would make a terrific 60-second television commercial:

Click on the Power Line link in the subject line of the posting, and you can see all of the winners and also rans which were good enough for them to put on-line.
I’ve seen about 8 of them, all very good in their own way. The winning one was about squirrels - sort of a grasshopper and the ants story. I do think the doorbell one is a really great one because of it’s smplicity. It grabs your attention with a good-looking mother and daughter. The child looks so innocent, and she’s about to be saddled with a gigantic debt load. This one is a keeper and ought to become viral.
