Education Secretary Arne Duncan joined the briefing at the top to discuss the waivers that the Department is offering states from No Child Left Behind until Congress reauthorizes it.
TAPPER: And the other question I have is, given that Speaker Boehner was one of the people who helped draft No Child Left Behind, can you explain what the problem is in Congress?
DUNCAN: Well, I think you guys understand Congress a lot better than I do.

Questions about government is above the pay-grade of everyone in the Obama administration. They are just there for the perks and the power rush. Don’t expect them to do anything or understand anything.
Another reason for the seperation of school and state.
Arne Duncan seems to be right on top of things....cough.
Obama has intended to do what he has done.
Now, he will just do nothing. Others will continue to put forth last-minute plans and numbers in order to extend the crisis.
It’s like going to sleep as the pilot of a stealth bomber, or like sending SEALs into battle without armor or bullets.
