In the coming days well sort through the repercussions of S&Ps downgrade of our credit rating, including concerns about the impact a potential interest rate increase would have on our ability to service our suffocating $14.5 trillion debt.
Im surprised that so many people seem surprised by S&Ps decision. Werent people paying attention over the last year or so when we were getting warning after warning from various credit rating agencies that this was coming? Ive been writing and speaking about it myself for quite some time.

Our founders declared that we were born the heirs of freedom. We are the heirs of those who froze with Washington at Valley Forge, who held the line at Gettysburg, who freed the slaves, carved a nation out of the wilderness, and allowed reward for work ethic. We are the sons and daughters of that Greatest Generation who stormed the beaches of Normandy, raised the flag at Iwo Jima, and made America the strongest and most prosperous nation in the history of mankind. By God, we will not squander what has been given us!
We can't spare this woman...she fights.

Tea Party Americans werent the ones fiddling while our countrys fiscal house was going up in smoke. In fact, we commonsense fiscal conservatives were the ones grabbing for the extinguishers while politically correct politicians and their cronies buried their heads in what soon became this bonfire.Well said, Sarah!

In addition to energy security, I embrace a pro-growth agenda that can make American corporations far more competitive on the global stage. (I will be writing more about this in the coming days.) Do tell...sounds like SOMEONE has a plan...

Nah, she’s just putting things in writing to stem the tide of the nay-sayers who would claim that she has no ideas or plans. She can point to what she’s written over the last couple of years to show that she has, in fact, been thinking about these issues for quite a while.

I think there’s real good chance you won’t have a 2nd FR anniversary.

Palin long ago endorsed Paul Ryan's Path to Prosperity plan, which includes Medicare and Medicaid reform: That's a serious, that's real, and that's specific. Ryan's plan was a "cut" from the baseline budget of 6.2 trillion over the next ten years. Many of us strongly criticized it here on discussion threads about it.
And haven't most of us here spent the last week savaging what a sham "cutting" from a baseline budget over ten years is? I could have sworn we did. Maybe I imagined it.

Read it all! Sarah hits this one out of the park! She explains QE and brings the impact of the BO’s disastrous economic decisions down to the neighborhood level. She lays out a plan for growth and correction and reminds us of our heritage and destiny as Americans.
We need her now.
Go Sarah!

I love this lady!! She’s laying the ground work for a presidential run...I can just feel it!
I already told my wife; if Palin runs, my second full-time job will be doing all I can to get her elected!
God Bless Sarah Palin!

Notice how she stresses, of course, drilling, but BECOMING COMPETITIVE again.
THIS is the crux of our problems — why the jobs are going overseas, why good people can’t find work, why revenues are down. We can’t compete. She knows it. Our leaders know it —but they have other agendas.

BTTT!
She has to run and she has to announce soon!

Palin said that she endorsed the Ryan Plan as the *base* for which to start BUT that it *wasn't perfect* and there were a lot MORE than that that need to be done ( PLUS she has stated that we need to go to a zero-based budgeting practices and ultimately a balanced budget)
The Conclusions are in....You are ignorant of anything Sarah has said and thus is unqualified to question her since you refuse to take the time to investigate what she has said but want us to lead you and explain it to you like a baby
To: LibsRJerks
Sarah Palin, unlike ANY other candidate or 'potential' candidate...
GETS IT!
Plus she had the TRACK RECORD to prove it!
All of you good folks out there who are supporting PERRY, take a look and demonstrate why you think a person who BALLOONED their state's DEBT during their tenure, should be PRESIDENT OF THE USA in times like these?
Where is the DEBT CUTTING EXPERIENCE that we so sorely need?
Or is it just because it's another 'good talkin' Texan?
To: onyx
I think the last couple days sealed it and probably moved that announcement up a bit.
