War On Terror: The deaths of more than 20 Navy SEALs from the unit that took out Osama bin Laden may be linked to a loose-lipped vice president and a presidential action figure.
The last scene of the 1954 Korean War film "The Bridges at Toko-Ri," based on the James Michener novel, shows a carrier commander watching planes take off for another mission and asking, "Where do we get such men?"
The same may be asked of the members of Navy SEAL (sea, air, land) Team 6 who died when the helicopter they were riding was hit by a Taliban-launched rocket-propelled grenade in the Tangi Valley of Wardak province just west of Kabul, Afghanistan.
That they were the best of the best is an understatement. To be a Navy SEAL, you had to be even better than that. President Kennedy formally created the SEALs as an elite force composed of America's best capable of combat operations in any theater or environment. They've performed bravely and admirably, although it is fitting we may never know of their greatest successes.
To be a politician takes more chutzpah than courage. The chattering class, as the mainstream media are called, pondered how the SEALs' killing of bin Laden last spring might affect President Obama's re-election chances in 2012. So did administration officials, as the leaks and chest-thumping began immediately. After all, it happened on Obama's watch, we were told.
SEAL missions depend on courage, skill, daring and secrecy. Initially, when the president announced that "a small team of Americans" had killed Osama bin Laden, he did not identify it was the SEALs.

Obama put Team Six in danger the moment he politicized the Osama killing.
What was NATOs and Obama’s role in the distribution
of night vision to the Islamic enemy?
Why were top level heroes sent on a routine
mission in a vulnerable chopper after giving out the
night vision equipment?
He did indeed
Maybe this is how Obama gets rid of Biden, and then announces Hillary Clinton as the VP
Seal team 6 traveling in a 49 year old helicopter crica 1962, nice!
Of course he did. They don't call him Joe Bite-me Biden for nothing. We have the most radical, Amerika-hater as pres__ent 0dumb0, and complimented by the dumbest guy in Washington, VP Joe Bite-me Biden "Stand up Chuck" to the paraplegic! What a travesty that Amerikan voters were so unbelieveably stupid (including my dumb ass brother & fat sister-in-law) that they would vote for this subversive duo as pres & VP. Dear God, please remove these two god-haters from office RIGHT NOW!
So, Caligula has selected Biden to be the scapegoat.
IT WAS CALIGULA’S FAULT!!!!
“Stand up, Team 6, let ‘em see you. Oh, God love you, what am I talking about?”

My heart is sick. Words cannot describe my disgust at this administration and those who support it.
Ping
Here is my question. Even if Biden stupidly or by treason, gave out enough information to figure out which members were on the bin Laden killing team, how did the Taliban know they’d all be in one helicopter at the same time?
If he’s stupid enough to keep Geithner he’s stupid enough to keep BiteMe.
Fox reported that Hollyweird is putting out a movie next October (timing don’t you know?) about the OBL raid and that the producers have high level sources in the regime providing inside info. This is absolutely treasonous, but anything to make POtuS’ “gutsy” decision front page propaganda.
Mitch Rapp will take care of this.
Yeap, agreed, Biden painted a target on these guys backs
Personally, I am taking the least blame-worth path here. As much as I despise our Executive Office Boobs, everything I hear points to a target of opportunity.
1) An Army Ranger Team gets pinned down and is running low on everything.
2) The US Military establishment, already dealing with the troop draw-down [Obama Promise], scrambles a make-shift SO Team in an available Chinook.
3) Bad timing brings this large, loud Helicopter into the valley at early light instead of dark.
4) A Taliban fighter with RPG, probably on a mountain slope for height advantage, gets the perfect target.
5) Even the best Chinook pilot cannot maneuver where there is no room.
Do enough operations enough times and your enemy learns your SOP and that is DEADLY!
“Why were top level heroes sent on a routine

Lots of night vision goggles available on eBay for $250+
“top level heroes” do “routine” missions all the time.
All “choppers” are vulnerable.
An M1 Abrams would have helped, but they don’t hover very well.
This may have been a Taliban lucky shot or it may have been caused by an intel leak. Assume it was a leak and investigate vigorously!
