Had the Bin Laden raid happened in the Bush era it's possible the mission would have been to attempt to capture him rather than kill him. The administration could have denied any knowledge of a rumored raid, Bin Laden could be transported to a black site and interrogated. Of course this is all hypothetical.

This am I watched the Today Show and the family of Aaron Vaughn was on - he was a Seal team member killed on Sat. The father had some pointed comments about the “sheep” in Washington who have said too much. It is well worth watching - the fathers commentary alludes to what is written in this article. Amazing family - so sorry for their loss...I feel touched to have even seen them speaking on tv.
